I financed my first car with FMCU in 1968. It's always a pleasure to conduct any business with them. They go above and beyond to assist you in your undertakings. Excellent rates on savings and loans, and very helpful employees. Highly recommend them.

They don’t even deserve one star at this point. My family had a road rage incident happen at one of the branch locations. I was asked by law enforcement to call the bank and see if they could see the license plate number as you can’t file a report if you have no name or identification of any kind. I asked if they could get me the license plate number as this is the only place that would have caught it. I was originally told HR would call me back. I waited a few days and heard nothing so I called again, I was told over two weeks ago not counting the first call being told HR would call back. That I would have it by that Friday afternoon at the latest early Monday morning that was last week and still no update no communication nothing. So I called back asking to speak to a manager so I could report that said manager. I left a voicemail early in the morning with John and never received a call back. I was told that I would receive a call back from him by the person who answered the phone. Of course I didn’t though and I’m seeing a repetitive pattern no communication no follow through and definitely no care to resolve issues. I understand this review has nothing to do with the bank it’s self, but I would hate to bank here as it seems their problem-solving skills and follow through lack tremendously. I’d seriously hate to have a banking issue here and receive this type of treatment. I would rethink any loan or bank account being opened with this company as you will not be answered when problems occur. I now know to keep Fort McClellan credit union on my radar of places to never use.

My house is on the market and for sale. With a $120,000 down payment (I was told my house wasn’t even on the market) Barbara & Kinley loan officers “worked” on my loan. I couldn’t get in touch with anyone. nobody could answer the phone and I guess they got tired of me calling and declined my loan. I am VERY upset with how Fort McClellan has changed over the years and DO NOT RECOMMEND!

This is by far the worse Credit Union I have ever dealt with. I’m so lucky I never moved my money into it. It took over a month to be added on as an authorized user. The bank manger Beth is completely incompetent. She did all the paperwork for the account and it was still incomplete. After going in circles for 2 months I decided I did not want to be associated with this business. Imagine if my membership could not entered what would happen with my money. Ever time you call to speak with Beth she on a lunch break. If you leave a message calls are never returned. If this is the best bank manager they can find I WARN everyone do not put your money here. If you are military stick with Navy Federal. The customer service is A++ compared to this.

This credit union is so welcoming every time I come in. They show how much they care with every transaction. I love banking here and will never bank elsewhere and always refer friends here too. Thank you for all your hard work in making this my favorite financial institution!
