App is useless. If you want to make an additional payment it takes you to website. What is the point of the app then. Banking NOT made easy. All the chat bots that are there to help are AI. They never answer the phones. Can never speak to real people. Website is super outdated and not user friendly. Won’t bank with them again once my loans paid off.

Look I understand security, but tell me why the loan department will pull your credit and approve you for a loan and then the account department will deny you an account because they "can't verify your identity" unless you go into a branch. They say you can have an account if you are part of the UA Alumni Association, but don't understand that all of those members don't live near a branch. Why would the loan dept be able to pull your credit without verifying your identity??? Tons of online banks are able to verify identities without physically seeing you, but Alabama Credit Union apparently can't. But hey, at least they'll let your take a hit on your credit report.

I have been using Alabama Credit Union for many years now after having poor experiences with other banks. Over my years there I have done three separate loans with Kristy Herring as my loan officer and she has always been right on top of everything. Anytime I have a loan need I always reach out to her to initiate the process.
