Used this Red Oak location recently for Shared Banking with an out-of-state credit union I'm a member of, and the process was very easy! The gentleman who spoke with me on the phone and then helped me in person answered all my questions and made the process of conducting an important transaction seamless. Thank you!!

If you’re considering banking with Red Oak RUUUUNNN in the opposite direction!!! I banked with them loyally for almost 20 years. But when they changed from DCH Credit Union to Red Oak, everything went downhill. I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemies. Whoever newly owns this institution doesn’t value the customers.

The lobby is always closed at my branch and I live in a big town! When you have something that needs to be handled you have to go through the drive through and try to talk back and forth through a window and have to pass things back and forth through the window. It’s absolutely ridiculous and not people friendly. I thought credit unions thrived on their relationships with their customers! Will be changing!

I went to Red Oak to open a checking and savings account. I had a check to cash from my deceased husband's retirement account they said the check was fake. This is one of the reasons I stopped banking with them before. When I gave them the other portion of the check it suddenly became legitimate. I received a call from them stating the check was fake again. I took it to another bank and opened an account with no problem. Do not bank with Red Oak they are a menace.

I would have given this place zero stars if I could. I went to this place to get a loan for 2500$ on 04/18/2023 since I had dealt with them before. She said my credit score has to be 620 or more to get approved. My score was 654 w/ Experian and 697 with TransUnion. laketria said since I have not borrowed anything since last year that she couldn't do it. I feel like She didn't want to let me borrow it due to my race even though she's the same race. She kept looking all crazy and talking to other people that were there to apply for a loan instead of coming back in to help me. I will never go back there to do business nor do I recommend others to do so...
