Just got a mortgage with them and it has been outstanding. Best rates across many lenders. I was skeptical with some of the bad reviews in different sectors but my experience was nothing less of excellent. Thank you Tony and Jessica along with your team.

This credit union has helped me with the sale of my mother's home when she passed away with the paperwork, they've helped me notarize wills all for free. Arizona Central credit union is one of the best credit unions up there with Navy Federal Credit Union. I am a US Navy veteran and I've been with AZCU since 1999 and I'm extremely satisfied. Ignore all negative reviews, highly recommended.

I have been using Arizona Central Credit Union for years and I am not sure how and why the Customer Service to its loyal customers has diminished to such low standards. I am no longer interested in the Credit increase as it is taking way to long for an approval for a member that has never missed a payment, has the Credit Card down to zero at the moment with very low DTI and a High Fico Score. I really regret unfreezing and getting a hard pull for nothing.

Horrible company. I’ve been here for almost 10 years and had in the past had nothing but positive things to say about this place but in the last year, it has gone majorly down hill. If you’re going to put your money here be prepared to check your account for underfunding fees on the regular. I have gotten over 200 dollars taken out for them already just this month because they claimed I did not have enough money for a transaction that I did have enough money for and then charged an underfunding fee 3 days later when the company tried to charge me again and I didn’t have the money. Also be prepared for absolutely no grace on underfunding fees. If you swipe your card, Realize you didn’t have the money, And then go to transfer more into your account, they will have already put an underfunding fee on your account. I know that this is not the case for most banks. Furthermore, expect really poor communication on the issue and when you go in person to the branch to talk about it with someone they will tell you they will get back to you on it and then simply will never get back to you. If you’re looking for a credit union that will support the normal working class individual, this is most definitely not the place. Pretty disappointing

After over 30 years with this credit union, I am no longer a customer. I just found out that I have been charged $5.00 a month since January 2025 for a “single service account fee”. I was never informed of this charge or sent any kind of communication regarding this fee. I called “customer service” and was told that this fee has been charged to customers for a couple of years now. (Odd, since it’s only been taken out of my account since January 2025). I was informed that to avoid the charge I must maintain a daily balance higher than $2500 for the month. Apparently, Arizona Central has forgotten their roots and now only cares to service clients who can afford to keep a couple thousand dollars in their bank at all times. The representative was more than happy to close out my account and mail me a cashier’s check for my remaining balance. I will gladly take it to MidFirst bank or Desert Financial and deposit it into a bank that knows something about how to treat a customer.
