*REVISED COMMENT* This overall rating is solely for the CEO of the VA Hospital Federal Credit Union. Mr. Pickett is proven to be a CEO of the members. I personally like to thank him for taking the opportunity to listen to my concerns and address each of my issues. Despite the outcome was unfavorable towards me, CEO Pickett does truly hear the voices of ever single member. I may not agree with the process, but I discern this CEO to be a person of great integrity. It’s still my opinion that both the loan officer and the board of Directors are too stringent when it comes to approving member’s loans, even the much smaller loans as the one I have requested. I understand about the governmental guidelines the Credit Union has to follow, but my dealings last month felt as if I was dealing with one of the major bank and not a Credit Union. My mortgage and car loan are all approved with banks and that I am truly thankful to them. However, It’s unbelievable that my request for a much smaller loan under $2,500 was denied by this Credit Union due to my debt ratio being over by 3%. I wish that someday the board of directors all will return back to voting with their hearts and not vote sitting at the round table reviewing over a computerize printout using a system considered to be a one size fit all. Small Credit Unions like the VA Hospital Federal Credit Union should be more member base ran, than operating under Governmental Regulations. Mr. Pickett thank you sir for your time concerning this matter.

I retired to the Phillipines in 2019. I informed the bank and told them that I needed my debit card to work in the Philippines. Once I arrive in the Philippines my card work for about 3 months and then quit I contacted the bank and they were able to resolve the issue however after another few months my card quit working again. I have received multiple error messages on my card and the bank has been unable to remediate the issue. They give me different excuses each time. Now they say their system is not compatible with the network here. I have no way to access my retirement or disability check and am starving and soon to be homeless due to not being able to access my money.

Very good experience with VHFCU! I got a pretty good financing deal with ally. I refinanced through VHFCU and got an even better deal thanks to Billie (loan officer)! Everyone at the office is professional and courteous...a pleasant environment. I am very pleased with my experience, and would recommend them to everyone!

I have been member for about 20 years and I hope to be a member for many more years. I like their personal touch and being able to talk to a person and not a robot when you call. I havent lived in Arkansas in years and the VA credit union is still my perfered saving account. Never change.
