I don’t know how I ever did banking at a normal bank. The attention and care that this bank provides for its customers is unmatched at any normal bank. They know me by name, though I don’t spend a ton of time there. And they show me respect even though I’m not the wealthiest person they take care of. Can’t recommend them more.

This review pertains to the ATM machine only. This ATM used to work perfectly 5-6 yrs ago. Yesterday, we tried to withdraw and deposit using this machine. The ATM took many minutes just to accept the card and prompt for pin. Then, it accepted my withdraw amount and dispensed no money. It printed the receipt with no amount or balance shown. It also immediately alerted my CU and blocked my card. The receipt read: Tran Not Complete. The other disaster happened a few months back when it did not provide me a receipt for depositing large amount of cash. Very inconvenient and stressful situation. I do not recommend anyone to rely on this location.

This bank is unbelievable. They set up a new online banking system were you can set up automatic transfers from your checking to savings visa versa every week or month if you like. GREAT. But the only way to cancel that transfer is GOING TO THE BANK IN PERSON and making it in writing that you want to cancel. Regardless of the fact that you had set this up online there's no way to undo it if you made a mistake or want to change the transfer amount you have to drive to the bank branch and tell them to cancel in person. There's no other way to do this, how ridiculous is that? First Entertainment Credit Union allows you to set up automatic transfers and cancel them when you are logged in your account. You don't have to drive over to the bank branch to tell them when you want to stop a transfer. They also have no paperless statement options. For their most basic free checking account you have to have a minimum of $500 in the checking account at all times or they'll hit you with a fee every month.

Speaking as a business owner I wouldn't bother to leave a review like this if it didn't warrant. STAY AWAY!!! Continuning worst experience ever. My husband has worked for the studios over 10years. We finally needed to purchase a new vehicle. We opted for the credit union since there is a branch located on the lot. Getting the loan was no issue. Funded quickly, paperwork was hassle free, that's what the 1 star is for. Negative 10 stars for the continued annoying experience. When trying to make payment, they are always quick to take my money but for the last few months they have marked few of my payments late when they clearly received it and accepted it. I have tried numerous was to pay our loan. I have mailed a check regular usps first class mail. First few payments no issue. Then all the sudden we get hit with a late payment and they reported to credit bureau and it dropped credit score -88pts, when they had already gotten said months payment and the payment following it. So we had to take a day to visit the branch because through the phone, no one was being helpful, nobody understood they issue and actually made things worse by giving false information. Jesse the manager takes care of it, doesnt apologize or even state it was their fault or the issue to why it happened. Fine, whatever. We left assuming that would be last and final. Tell me why this happened another 2 times after this incident. I have gone in the branch to make a payment and that caused more issued. I sent an echeck from BofA which worked once but now again I am getting a late notice. I am annoyed and frustrated with their payment processing. I would NEVER RECOMMEND USING THE CREDIT UNION FOR LOANS. I cannot say for their checking and savings but if they cannot collect and record their payments correctly why would you trust them to hold your money? I fought my husband on using the credit union so we could avoid using big box banks BUT YOU KNOW WHAT? They even apologize when they screw up. I hope someone attempts to contact me about this review and doesn't ignore me and brush me under the rug like they do at the branch. The 2nd visit I had to go correct this issue the Manager didn't even want to see us. He "took care"of it on his end and had the teller tell us "it's done" blank stare and that's it. I guess when they make errors instead of acknowledging and helping their customer understand what happened and how to possibly avoid future repeats is not imperative to their service. I am sure no one in management will care about this or in fact I am sure I will continue to have this issue until I payoff or refinance elsewhere BUT I HOPE THOSE THAT ARE CONSIDERING THIS OPTION RUN FAR FAR AWAY. Their low apr rate is not worth the headache, hassle or time off I had to take from work to deal with this issue in person because they couldn't fix it otherwise. NEVER AGAIN UCSCU!
