My debit card always seems to be locked on a weekend for no reason. And there is ZERO customer service on the weekend. So I'm stuck without a debit card or access to my money all weekend. Plus they never show up on ANY mobile pay apps..(Zelle, PayPal, etc..) I've been with this credit union for 30 years and have always been happy with the customer service, it seems in the last few years, I've had nothing but issues. Constant fraud on debit cards, and one being a loss to $1000s due to fraud on my debit card in which they said I was responsible for because I approved the purchases through their automated call. They knew it was fraud but held me on a technicality (mistake).

I have been a member of Rancho Federal Credit Union for several years, and I can confidently say they provide exceptional service. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to assist. Whether it’s everyday banking, loans, or special programs, Rancho FCU offers great options tailored to members’ needs. Their personalized approach and genuine care make them stand out from larger institutions. I highly recommend Rancho Federal Credit Union to anyone looking for a trustworthy, community-focused financial partner.

They keep freezing my account because I’ve been trying to purchase a laptop for school. They unfroze it and then I tried again the next day, declined check and card again. Did exactly what RFCU told me over the phone. Drove back and forth to different Best Buys about 4-5 times. Wasted gas, time. Going insane. And they act like it’s not a big deal every time. I have a deadline to meet and thanks to RFCU, I’m very close to missing that deadline unfortunately.

This branch has stolen my deposits, lost my deposits, and has sent back my EMPTY envelop to me. There is someone at THIS Downey branch who is STEALING customers money. I can say this for a FACT because I've been a member for over 15 years and it's happened to 8 times. I will NEVER EVER deposit my money to the DOWNEY branch again. I'm done with them and their theiving ILLEGAL business practices. Thank God there are OTHER branches!!!
