Long time member with prospectors before the merger or acquisition, they were membership oriented & i had a couple of small loans years ago which was easier approved & paid off, but this year i applied for a car loan & rejected with the excuse of payment history with the last loan that I've submitted a change of payment date according to my social security retirement check & they agreed , apparently they don't keep their records after the merger, hence affecting my credit & I've to go somewhere else. This institution failed miserably because now they're after profit only & disregard for their longstanding customers. I'm in the process to close my account & advise friends & family to do so,

My family and I were long time members with Vons EFCU which is now called Certified Federal Credit Union. We had checking, savings, IRAs, CDs, real estate and car loans through them over the years. Despite the longevity and numerous accounts in excellent standing, we experienced poor customer service ranging from no return calls, long wait times, unprofessional interactions, informal office environment with lots of employees talking versus making customers feel important, etc. The online systems are clunky, not user friendly and not intuitive. It feels like a low level "ranch style" informal financial institution both in interactions in-person, via email and over the telephone whereby they are not well trained to provide service on a high level and do not inspire confidence to invest more money or do business with them. Most of the issues seem to be with particular departments and leadership versus the tellers and regular member services where interactions were much more pleasant and professional.

This is absolutely the worse bank to possibly trust your money with. Certified federal credit union had fraud in my account, didn’t notice it, charged me fees for it, and continuously keeps messing up all my accounts since I’ve been a member in 2016. I’ve been in the process of getting all my money transferred to Chase and I’m still running into issues with CFCU. All I want is to cash in my rewards and leave, but they make it impossible to do so.

Thank goodness its over! If you are thinking of doing business with this band PLEASE think again! I had a home mortgage with them for about 15 yrs and the banking service is equal to a hostage situation. Please make sure to read the fine the print because if you fall in hard times with your mortgage they will FREEZE your entire account until you resolve your account. It does not matter if you're medication dependent or need to feed your children. The harassment from these reps was next level rude, stressful and disrespectful!! This was the worst business relationship we ever experienced!! PLEASE PLEASE BEWARE!!
