I’m very disappointed with the service at Northrop Grumman Federal Credit Union. I had an issue with a merchant and was told by the merchant to contact my credit union. When I called customer service, Juan immediately told me they couldn’t help and that even if I filed a dispute it probably wouldn’t be approved. He said he could email me a form but offered no real support. I went to the branch, where Veronica was kind and printed the form for me. However, when I met with Crystal, she repeatedly insisted there was nothing they could do and seemed dismissive of my situation. After I insisted on speaking with someone knowledgeable, Vincent came over. Although polite, he made me repeat everything and still provided no real clarity. Even after speaking with the team upstairs, I was told the issue would be resolved in 24 hours — and it wasn’t. I thanked them and left. I have four accounts with this credit union, and this experience showed a lack of follow-up, inconsistent information, and very little respect for members. My family and I are now considering closing our accounts due to ongoing disappointment with their service.

Absolutely love this creditunion, I have been with them since my first week at Northrop. The staff is amazing and always so helpful.. They have 24 service, and always willing to help when you need them.

I have been a member for over 50 years. This credit union has been always been efficient and welcoming. The mgr managed more checks for me even though the credit union was only allowed so many for retired members. I always enjoy doing business with my credit union,

Absolutely the slowest credit union. I'm in end of purchasing my home. NGFCU had one job and a whole 24 hours to do it. Of course they didn't do their job and took forever to wire my funds to Escrow. This group apparently verifies the information. I have already wired the good earnest to this company, what was the problem?!? I had a whole weekend of planning to move in that has to be moved to next weekend. I did talk to someone named Michelle today and she was an absolute angel, so understanding and kind. Other reps actually said the wire was done when in fact it wasn't. I'm going to take my large sum of money and move it to my Bank of America account since this credit union continuously fails me. I had been having issues with my card for months. I would check it but it wasn't locked. Well come to find out they put a limit on my card because they thought they saw possible fraud. Now that's okay, what isn't okay is they never actually reached out to tell me this. It has been so frustrating having to Zelle my other bank just to purchase anything. Again, not a good credit union. I've been a customer for almost 20 years now and I'm done.

Requested a new car loan. Was approved the next day but now it’s been 4 days and still can’t get a return email or phone call to pick up check. Called service center twice and my issue was noted as priority since Tesla is delivering my car tomorrow. Actually drove to Azusa branch to see if I could get check only to be told only employees of NG can enter credit union. So wasted an hour and gas. Called and left messages…still no response. So you can keep your money and lose the interest, Tesla approved me in 1 hour and is delivering my car tomorrow. I’ve been a member about 30 years worst service ever the last year including the software update to online banking. Guess I’ll have to move my 4 accounts.
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
