Had a great rate for car interest loan! Been with them ever since and they are very nice to deal with. So far a really great bank! Also Susan the accounting technician, went the extra mile helping me with another issue, very friendly.

Warning to people. I used to bank for years. I'm a freelance artist and got a job. I got a check that I suspected was fradulent and I asked the bank teller if they could check if it was a real check before they cashed it. They went to the back then came back and reassured me it was real. Well I found out on my own that I was being scammed I tried to report it to fix it and they accused me of being in on the scam, closed my accounts, stole the rest of my money, and blacklisted my wife from every bank because she was rightfully angry that we were being accused of being thieves when we brought the problem to their attention in the first place. This bank does not do it's due diligence and will blame you for being scammed. If I were you I would find somewhere else to bank with.

This bank has horrible service. I did my financing for my auto loan through this bank and it was a very difficult process because of the poor communication on behalf of the staff. They failed to inform me of what was going on with loan. Once I had purchased my veichle it took over 2 weeks to finalize the paperwork with them because they delayed themselves in letting me know what was going. Due to this I had to pay out of pocket much more than I should have and not to mention that my loan rep misinformed me on numerous things regarding my loan. The rep did not know what she was talking about and the staff were very rude and did not want to answer my questions so I could understand my loan and the options I had. My loan rep was never available for me and did not return my calls in a timely manner. Ultimately I ended up having a car for about 2 weeks without them releasing the funds to the dealership and making this process a nightmare for me. Thankfully the dealership was very patient with me and allowed me to resolve the issues with this CU for as long as I needed to. My payment ended up being higher because the loan rep has misinformed me of my APR. She emailed me with different information and a different APR and when i told her that she misinformed me and I had the email to prove it, she brushed it off and she said she must of wrote it wrong. This bank doesn’t hold their staff accountable for any of their mistakes and the customer ends up getting screwed due to their negligence. I will never do business with them again and I highly recommend you go through another bank. Please save yourselves the headache.

MSEFCU is an amazing bank for students and individuals looking to get their first checking and savings account. It provides great services to handle your finances. If your looking on getting a loan, look no further they provide great low rates on mortgages, refinances as well as personal loans. I dealt with two loan officers Ernesto Beltran and Lee Lao, and they did a fantastic job in helping me acquiring a loan. I'm very great full for the services they provide me and I recommend this bank to anyone looking for a great reliable bank experience.

Back in February I came in to talk to a loan officer about getting pre-approved for an auto loan. I spoke with Anabel and she made the process very easy, keep in mind this is my first time doing this so I have limited knowledge on this. The process was very straight forward and quick, she printed out my letter and wished me good luck on my car shopping as we know it's been rough. She explained to me that any dealership that's apart of the credit union's CUDL program will accept this letter and even if they aren't the process will just be a little longer. Fast forward to April, I finally found a car I loved and that was in my budget. Originally Carmax approved me for a 17% APR! Which is crazy but thankfully they have a three day period where you can shop around. I already knew I could come back to the credit union but I had to wait until Monday since they're closed on the weekends. When I came into the credit union I saw Anabel again and she was extremely helpful. She even helped expedite my check so I could bring it into Carmax the next day given the fact it's been extremely busy with this spring event going on. I picked it up Tuesday and now everything is settled with a much better APR.
