Very unprofessional. I called them to skip a car payment for Christmas. I signed and filled out the forms they instructed me to sign and fill out and paid a $35 fee to skip the payment. I even called back to make sure everything was correct. The payment was still taken out! When I spoke to the manager she said that I was supposed to stop the payment with my bank. She said they did their part. How I was I supposed to know this? This isn't what I do for a living. They should have mentioned this. This is what they do for a living. I'm very unhappy with their customer service.

This bank, their customer service. Their loan department is the absolute worst God. Forbid, you Miss A payment and the collections. Department calls you. It's like you robbed their bank. Never, ever would I ever decide to bank with them again? Thank god I closed my account

Wow. I got second hand embarrassment from the terrible customer service the cashier gave the young customer in front of me. I will definitely NOT recommend this bank for someone opening an account for their young children or for a young adult. The cashier was rude, totally not empathetic nor helpful! and almost made the girl cry. Explain the fees transparently AND educate your employees on providing this back to customers!

I've never had an issue with the in person service at Merco. On the other hand, I've needed to call about my account a number of times and I resent having to press "ONE" FOR ENGLISH!!! Exactly what country do you think you're in???
