Miss Gina is incredible. She is so polite and knowledgeable. We definitely will be coming back when we need help with auto loans or home equity loans. All around pleasant experience. She helped us open an account for an auto loan that was accepted and like magic in 10 minutes we signed everything. 👍

Don't even think about it! Horrible experience. Edna never returned my call (after she told me twice she would) Zach stepped in & assisted the best way he knew how. TY Zach. Balance transfer is still NOT resolved.

My daughter recently applied for an auto loan through Monterey Credit Union, and we initially worked with Zach Dwyer. He approved the loan and provided us with the interest rate (7.09%), the loan term (72 months), and the maximum approved loan amount. Based on his confirmation, we proceeded to the dealership, selected a car within the approved amount, and finalized the sales contract. When we sent the completed contract back to Zach, he suddenly claimed he had made a mistake and could now only approve a lower loan amount than the one he initially committed to. This left us in an extremely difficult and stressful situation after we had already signed paperwork with the dealership, relying on his numbers. This kind of error shows a serious lack of professionalism, attention to detail, and accountability. When someone in a lending position approves a loan, customers make major financial decisions based on that approval. Having the terms changed after the fact is unacceptable and reflects poorly on Monterey Credit Union's internal review process and training. We expected better integrity and reliability from a local credit union. I strongly urge others to double-check everything in writing before making any commitments based on what this branch or representative says.

Entire team in bank at Monterey credit union is amazing, it’s hard to single out anyone because they all do such a great job! I met Gina several years ago when first opening an account. She has always been more than accommodating and always takes care of my needs same day. Because of great staff this has always been my favorite bank. We have developed a lasting friendship and Gina has helped with many situations not bank related as a friend. Want to point out how great Suzette is as well! Great team at Monterey credit union!
