We had an issue with a check, but the staff was very accommodating (I’m sorry I don’t know the names) but it was today around 2pm and two ladies were extremely helpful and friendly throughout the entire time.

This financial institution appears to be a little shady. I recently requested a named change as I got married. Congratulations to me; I did send in the necessary documents, marriage certificate i.e. updated drivers license. I was contacted three times by three different representatives requesting the same information this place definitely lacks communication. The scary part is I requested a new debit card with the new updated last name. Received five different debit cards none of them match the number provided on the online website I have called. I’ve recently spoken to the same representative three times as of yesterday when I asked to speak with a supervisor representative Keisha B then told me she was a part of the management team and declined to my request. After she went on, just absolutely rudely talking over me and completely disregarded the fact that I had received multiple debit cards that were not working with the card services allowing me to activate and add a pin to the card. She then offered to stay on the line with me to activate the card, no offense, but I wouldn’t want anyone privy to the personal information that I put in to access my said money. And just to add more content, she then mention it might be my telephone number is blocked or kind of made me feel as if l was the reason the wrong cards were being sent out of their business was absolutely my fault. I still have not received a updated debit card. I will not be getting an updated debit card at this point I feel like all of my information is in the hands of Joe blow from Orange County every time I call this establishment I get the same five people this place lacks consistency and because of the Inconsistency and incompetence I’m actually delighted that I do not do my main banking with this Financial institution. I have filed a complaint with the FTC.( for peace of mind). I just don’t wanna be a part of any kind of financial scam or data breach were information as found in the Wrong hands. Honestly, when I think about this establishment, I think about scam.

My experience at first city cu was extraordinary, Stephen did an awesome job explaining the history of the cu, how it works, its benefits and helped me all the way setting up my account. He answered all my questions and provided very valuable information on more ways for better financial management. He made the whole process very easy and took his time making sure I had no doubts or concerns. Highly recommended.
