How I missed the old PSFCU!! They had the best quality of customer services!!! Went to make a loan payment. The young man teller did not great me nor say anything once the transaction was completed! Not putting a foot at their premises ever again. I’ll make the payment on-line going forward. Awful! I DO NOT recommend this credit union!!!.

I have been getting the run around since July 2025 on charges that I did not approve of. I have been calling and calling and have been told we are looking into it and we will call you back. No one has called me back as of Dec 15,2025. I have more complaints about this credit union ever since they moved from fair oaks and made so many changes. I have been a member since 2004 and now it’s time to say goodbye to PFCU.

“My family has been with Pasadena Federal Credit Union (Lake Avenue branch) for over 60 years. I’ve personally held an account here for more than 30 years. That’s a very long time to trust one institution. After the 2024 merger with Pasadena Service Federal Credit Union, everything changed for the worse in my experience. I filed a credit card dispute in 2025 for $3,300 in charges related to services that were never delivered. What should have been a routine matter became many months of complete frustration:Case numbers changed repeatedly The dispute was classified differently from one call to the next Almost nothing came in writing — no real explanations, no merchant details, no clear answers Dozens of calls led to almost no progress or documentation The refund only arrived in early 2026 after heavy escalation and formal letters — far longer and more stressful than I ever thought possible after 30+ years of membership. The timing feels connected to the merger, and the level of confusion and lack of transparency was shocking compared to how things used to be.If you’ve been a member a long time, be aware that service and dispute handling may feel very different now. Has anyone else noticed big changes in communication or resolution times since the merger? Just trying to figure out if this is isolated or more widespread.”

Ever since the transition from PSFCU to this CU I have had only trouble with their App. In addition, the ATM inside the physical branch NEVER works and once I had to go to to the teller counter to withdraw cash and had to wait forever and deal with a rude teller. No one acknowledged the long wait I had to suffer while the entire staff ignored me. No apologies for the wait. I get that we have to wait for service sometimes, but at least acknowledge your customers while they are waiting, thank them for being patient. It just shows you care. I am going to transition out of this CU and put my money elsewhere. I DO NOT recommend.

I have been a member at this credit union for almost 50 years. I am very disappointed in the lack of customer care that they exhibit. Not only are they non responsive they have MAJOR attitude. It seems like they don't care nor do they try to resolve issues. I filed a dispute many months ago with their resolution team) and I am still waiting to get my overcharges credited back to my account. Emails and voicemails go unanswered. I have been trying for months to get someone to tell me when they will be correcting the attached email. Frankly this gibberish tells me nothing. Sooo sad.... thinking it is time to change credit unions
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
