We visited Wescom Marina, CA for notary services, and Emily provided an exceptional experience from start to finish. She greeted us with a warm and friendly welcome, which immediately made us feel comfortable. Throughout the entire process, she was professional, patient, and very helpful. Emily handled our notary signatures efficiently while still taking the time to ensure everything was accurate. Her positive attitude and genuine customer service truly stood out.

This is The Worst Credit Union I have ever tried to get a loan with. Yesterday, I tried to get a Personal Loan to pay off my Discover Card and my Capital One MasterCard. I owe about $10,000 on both and I could have this paid off in 2 years. This is the second time applying for a loan and each time I was denied . This Credit Union in my opinion does not work for their members financial security. I have been with this Credit Union for over 10 years! I will never keep large sums in my savings account anymore.

I visited the bank yesterday because, unfortunately, when my son’s account was opened, my signature was not captured correctly. When I arrived y he person who originally assisted me was busy and unable to help to assist me fix the error. Tracy kindly stepped in. She did not have to take on my issue, yet she went above and beyond to assist me. Tracy’s professionalism, patience, and willingness to help truly stood out. She made the process smooth, addressed my concerns thoroughly, and ensured everything was resolved before I left. I am very grateful for her outstanding customer service and the extra effort she put in to assist me. Employees like Tracy make a real difference, and I hope her excellent service is recognized and appreciated.

I've been in the credit union industry since 2000. In fact, I didn't know much about credit unions back then. In 2000, my better half took me to the Wescom in Simi Valley. She wrote a check and the amount they cashed it for was too high. The difference wasn't much - maybe a couple dollars. I told her to forget about it, because it would cost too much to have them pull copies, etc - how banks operate! So, we went to the Simi Branch and we waited in line. When it was our turn, she asked for a copy of the check. The teller asked her to fill out a form - oh no, here we go! She asked us to wait and she went in back. Not even a minute later, she came out with a copy of the check. No charge, no waiting, no research or any of the excuses I've heard at my bank! I was sold! That was Wescom back then. Today it's different and there's something weird at the Pasadena location. I've been a member for a long time. I have a mortgage with them. I've had car loans, checking, savings, money market, credit card, etc. I would think they'd see me as a good client. A couple years ago, I was pulling some money from my account. I had deposited a large check a week or so earlier - it cleared and was okay. When I got to the teller, I told her I needed a check. Conversation passed between us and I wound up telling her what I needed the check for - it's for my business. She disappeared in back and after a few minutes, her manager came out with her. Her manager treated me like I was doing something illegal. Come on, I have a relationship with your credit union, I own my own business (and have for years) and you treat me this way? After explaining things in detail to the manager, she got on the phone and called someone - maybe upstairs. When she got off the phone, I told her in a very clear and direct manner that they have no right to hold my funds and if they refuse to release them I would transfer my mortgage and close all my accounts. She finally gave me the cashiers check and I left very upset. I did write a letter to the CEO. His response (came from his office, but I doubt he wrote it) was apologetic, but it lacked sincerity. Since then, I've used Wescom for only my existing mortgage - they're not getting another one from me, checking, savings and money market. I've pulled almost all the money from my accounts. One more thing. On Saturday, I had a client coming in from out of town. I didn't want her to take an Uber to my office, so I told her I'd meet her at Wescom - they have an area where I could do a little business. The gal at the reception desk kept looking at us as I was conducting the transaction. She didn't ask who I was or what I was doing. A few minutes later, someone came from the MSR area and asked what I was doing. I told her I've been a member for years, I have my mortgage with them and I've had many auto loans with Wescom. She just stood there for an uncomfortable 10-15 seconds. I then told her we're almost finished. She thought about, then said okay and left. I've met clients at other credit unions where I'm a member. This has NEVER happened to me. There is definitely something odd with this credit union. I get the feeling they don't appreciate my business and they don't want me to be a customer. A step above B of A and nowhere close to my other credit unions.

I want to start by saying l've been with this credit union for more than 15 years. I genuinely had no issues whatsoever until recently. We moved out of state. They were informed via our address changes. First week there, our cards are blocked. Why? Well it's being used out of California. Well, no duh! Isn't that why we provide our new address. Along with mailing, our new address should tell you we no longer reside in California. Now this second issue is truly the one who brought me to write this review. I Recently made a mobile deposit. It was my last check from my employer. For some reason they decided to give me what looked like a personal check from the company. There was no paystub attached to it. Made my deposit and 5 minutes later go in to check it took. To my surprise, 1 can't sign into my mobile app. I called waited long like everyone else and finally someone by the name of Lydia answered. She was on the phone with The Fraud Department. She kept going back and forth to ask me questions and give her the answers. The fraud department wanted me to provide a paystub or earning statement. I informed them I don't have one. I said to them I have a letter with my personal information and a breakdown of what was paid to me. However, because of the context of this letter I don't want to provide it. You can just leave the check on hold. I can wait! Well, I guess they didn't like my response and due to this fully and I mean FULLY restricted my account! I couldn't access my Online banking, ATM or transfer funds. I was literally told, "because you won't provide the letter, your account has been restricted and is under review for 10 days!" The check was removed/reversed from my account. There was NO help on their side to make this process easier. They could have called and confirmed the check is valid and still kept it on hold. However, The fraud department felt the need to fully block everything and not allow us to use our own money. I called my employer and asked them to please direct deposit it since my bank wouldn't take it. They made a direct deposit and all is fine now. However, I went more than a week with no access to our funds and banking account. Wescom Credit Union fraud department is a joke! Don't bank with them if you like to have access to your money. Also, left two separate voicemails to an Elizabeth at extension 2087. I was told she was a supervisor. What a joke! She never returned any of my phone calls. The most helpful person was Vanessa in the call center. Thank you Vanessa for your patience and professionalism yesterday. I was on the phone with her for more than an hour. She stayed calm, professional and patient the entire time.
