Ivette P, the relationship manager, is customer service excellence "period". The Lomita location has a "customer first" energy in everything they do. The staff is the best. Since September 2025 we have enjoyed banking with the ease of doing business with a senior citizen who is old school orientated. The money saved using the products SBCU provides is amazing. Even when stopping by the PCH main office, the quality of customer service was maintained with a "yes we can" and a smile. Been to most of the big financial institutions here in the South Bay, NONE can compare. Just visit them, "period".

Absolutely unacceptable experience. I came in expecting basic professionalism from a credit union, but what I got was a masterclass in incompetence. After waiting over an hour — yes, an hour — I was finally seen by someone who clearly lacked even the most fundamental knowledge of their own services. To make matters worse, they tried to pull a bait-and-switch on me, offering one set of terms initially and then changing them once I was already invested in the process. That kind of deceptive practice should be illegal in California. The staff seemed more confused than helpful, and the long wait times were made worse by the complete lack of communication. No updates, no apologies, just a slow drip of frustration. If you're considering banking here, do yourself a favor and run in the opposite direction. There are plenty of institutions that respect your time and operate with integrity. This is not one of them.

I love this place! The banking here is so much more personal than any bank. Ivette, Desi, Sara, are all so very helpful. If you feel mistreated by your bank come to the brighter side of banking.
