I've been with PLCU for 30 years. While the claim is they are the same credit union under a different name, I don't buy it. The customer service has changed, very robotic and impersonal, almost a "stick to the script" feel. I left San Diego 20 years ago, but loved PLCU so much that I kept our long distance relationship. I am seriously reconsidering closing my account, it just isn't anywhere near the feel of PLCU. In response to, "Response from owner": Your response is exactly the condescending tone I was speaking about. I did not ask you to review and publicly respond to my personal interaction with MyPoint. You could have contacted me directly to discuss. The choice to be passive-aggressive in your response is low hanging fruit.

Noah at PLCU (Farmham office) had excellent customer service. He is very knowledgeable and kind. Definitely recommend seeing him if you have questions.

Every time I mess something up, they immediately fix it... that's not funny, but I'm laughing because it's true. They're always so friendly and thorough, and I greatly appreciate everyone at this location Update, I closed my accounts and took 3 stars. At this location, I've unfortunately been in contact with two of their staff members who were so rude and disrespectful, I walked out and no, I never wanted to walk back in. But I did, closed my accounts and took my cash, what a terrible disappointment that was

I came this morning to cash and open an account for my business. I needed 3 checks cashed and they denied me after showing proof I owned the busienss. Had more than 3 identification and proof of owner. Won't come back again.

They used to be better when PLFCU. They charged inactivity fees until they drained my account and closed it. No letter. No notification. Just took it and didn't tell me. Probably buried in their terms and conditions but pretty awful. It wasn't that much money but this will cost them a customer forever. Just pulled two other accounts from them. I'm far from poor, I just forgot about this account. MyPoint Credit Union = Not your money. Stay away! After you write a bad review, they will hide from the fact that they DID NOT notify me and make up stories about the law. The response, blaming the customer, should tell you everything about them. They will steal if they can hide behind policies and lies. Great organization.
