I’ve been with SF Fire CU since 2012 and I have never been happier with a bank. Anytime I’ve had issues, calling and getting a real person instantly is such a breath of fresh air. I’ve never paid an ATM fee and they have so quick to resolve anything. If you are an SF resident, support your local bank! I have and will continue to recommend SF Fire to all my friends.

I already wrote a review on Yelp but I had to write another review again for Member Advocate Bao Nguyen. He took care of me on short notice expeditiously and helped me achieve my exact financial planning goals. THANK YOU BAO!

SF Fire credit union used to be the absolute best! Now... they're pretty much garbage. I have no idea why they would choose to become so bad for their members, but they have. Find a different bank. You're probably better off even just going with Wells Fargo.

i have emailed them twice about a weird letter i got from them and they have refused to respond to me. i just want to know if it was a legit letter from sffcu and not a phish. but they do not seem to care enough about my security concerns to respond. i should not have to post a review to get customer service. i should just get customer service when i log on to the app and send an email asking TWICE what is going on. i suggest you respond to your emails

More than 20 years ago, after I became exasperated by every single commercial bank with which I had ever done business, I signed up with SFFCU. I even encouraged my two children to join and we have never looked back. I have loved their service all these years and I have never had a problem until a couple of days ago when I encountered a rather impatient and somewhat rude young teller who would not let me finish my question and was dead set on sticking to his erroneous opinion. I would like to attribute his behavior to a lack of experience (I am hoping). In any event at his suggestion, I ended up speaking to the California St. branch manager. Eli was wonderful. He understood what I needed immediately and resolved the problem in record time. Thank you, Eli. And to anyone who runs into a similar situation, I’d like to suggest you appeal to a supervisor.
