I had an excellent experience working with Mital Dadlani during my home-buying journey. From the very beginning, she was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and supportive. She helped me secure my loan and patiently guided me through each step of the process, clearly explaining everything and making sure I was comfortable with every decision. What really stood out was how prompt and responsive she was. Whenever I had questions or needed clarification, Mital responded quickly and thoroughly, which made the entire process far less stressful. She also did a great job navigating the complexities of the loan process and keeping everything on track, which I truly appreciated. Buying a home can be overwhelming, but having someone as organized, professional, and dependable as Mital made a big difference. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and trustworthy loan agent who genuinely cares about helping her clients.

I drove all the way from Burlingame (about 40 minutes) to this branch to set up my monthly payments using an external bank account. Unfortunately, this process couldn’t be completed through my regular online banking setup at home — I had already spent nearly two hours trying on my phone, iPad, and computer, but the system kept giving me error messages. When I arrived, a banker named Kennedy (I believe he’s new) did his best to help me and was very professional and patient — I truly appreciate his effort. However, the experience was ruined by another staff member, Olivia, who kept interrupting and pressuring us. She repeatedly told me to go home and do it online or have someone else help me, even though I had already explained that the system wasn’t working remotely. She was dismissive and rude throughout the interaction, despite the branch not even being busy at the time (I was there around 1:40 PM). Her attitude was completely uncalled for, and it left a very negative impression. I’ve dealt with many banks before and have never encountered such poor customer service from a banker. If she can’t treat customers with basic respect or handle the responsibilities of her role, perhaps it’s time for a different line of work.

I have been with starone for 37 years. Up to now, they were clunky but acceptable. This latest security "upgrade" is ludicrous. I was forced to change my password and did so. A week later, I am trying to get in to my account again, and the password does not work. My account is locked. Going to the unlock link, I put all the requested info in, and surprise! They ask for my "secret word". What's that?!?? I try my previous and current passwords and am now completely locked out. Noone is answering at either the toll free or local phone number. I'm sitting on endless hold while typing this and seriously will be checking out more local banking options. Star one has declined to the point of making me wonder why I am still with them.

I worked with Elizabeth R. and have to say she is absolutely amazing. For small biz owners, getting traditional financing is often difficult but Elizabeth was dedicated to getting all the documents needed to get the approval. We need more people like her! Thank you Elizabeth!

We’ve banked with Star One for over thirty years, using services such as refinancing our homes, holding multiple IRAs, savings accounts, credit cards and more. They’ve never let us down - always offering the best services and accommodating our needs. We wouldn’t - and don’t - bank with anyone else.
