I’ve had multiple auto loans with SCCU, and this most recent one lasted me the longest. This past year, life has been crazy to say the least, and even when I was in the wrong, SCCU still made an effort to connect with me and work through the hard times. They treated me with respect and understanding and never made me feel judge, just supported. You can tell they genuinely care and are simply doing their jobs with integrity and compassion. Moving all around and coming back to the area soon and looking forward to banking with them. They aren’t a big corporation just trying to collect another check. They are FOR the members not against them- Thank you for all.

Autopay system is broken for loans, constantly takes double payments that take a month plus to unwind and get the extra payment returned. To Address the response from Siskiyou: Yes your support reached out to me, after I had already called them to see what caused the autopay system to take two payments out of my account, the response was "We don't know why it did that." The offer to send the extra payment back to my account is worthless since it takes a little over a month to reverse the charge. How do I know this? This same thing has happened 4 times to me since I started my loan with them. It has reached a point where I told them not to attempt to fix the issue in any way, as it seems to cause even more issues with their payment system, and yet despite me telling them to not do anything, they still have decided to not listen to their customer and fix the issue despite being told not to. This has reached a point where I'm looking to refinance with another bank or credit union even if I end up with a higher monthly payment, because paying a little extra each month is still better than being charged twice.

First off SCU Seems customer friendly. Then they get a chance to show there true colors once you start putting money into this institution. I had to stop put money in this bank because they think they can post payments out of my account anytime without my authorization which happened more than once. on a car loan that I had 10 days late they freeze my account. Their customer service is terrible there about themselves and not their customers be aware of where you’re putting your money!!! do not put it with this bank Siskiyou credit union it’s for themselves!
