They allowed my son who is a minor to open an account with an adult who has no legal guardianship over him. This credit union is a scam and I would not trust them. I try to talk them about the situation and instead they said it’s fine as long as it’s his grandma. How do they know that is his grandma. How do they know she won’t take his money. They don’t. I can not take my minor son to close this account with out his “grandmas” permission. She has full control over his money! My son who is a minor and was told to do this had no choice. My son has a disability and does not understand what he signed. This should be illegal. Instead of helping me they spoke to me rudely and hung up on me!

This has been the worse banking experience I ever had. They block debt cards all the time. The customer service is horrible. And the loan I received ended up being negative to my credit. Please save yourself from the frustration. Do not go with this bank. Not worth a single star.

Catrina went out of her way to help me over the phone with documents needed for closing on a house. She was very professional and quick to get me the document. Really saved the day, Thank you Catrina!

Just closed an account I had for many years. Nothing about EFCU is much different than any CU or bank. I was hoping for better customer service when I opened the account. Instead I got the usual impersonal numbers game.
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
