Let me start by saying that both my family and I have had an account with this bank for over 20 years. This bank has been nothing but inconvenient. They only have one location, which makes accessing services extremely difficult, especially if you don’t live nearby. On top of that, they seem to have very few staff members, so every visit turns into a long, frustrating wait. Calling them isn’t any better. The staff always sound hurried on the phone, and they act like you’re inconveniencing them just by asking for help. It’s incredibly unprofessional and makes an already frustrating situation worse. What’s worse is that when you finally do get helped—whether in person or on the phone—no one seems to know how to resolve even basic account issues. I’ve left multiple times with the same problems I walked in with, and I often feel like I know more about my own account than the staff does. Overall, this bank desperately needs better staffing, better training, and more accessible locations. Until then, I can’t recommend it to anyone.

Funds were stolen from my card in early December. I immediately submitted the required dispute form the same day and had my card blocked. After that, communication completely stopped. I checked my account repeatedly, sent multiple follow-up emails, and received no response. The call center is nearly impossible to reach, and when you do get through, the representatives sound rushed, unhelpful, and require you to repeat yourself multiple times. It became clear that visiting in person was the only way to get any attention. It wasn’t until the middle of the following week that I even saw journal entries. Now heading into the third week, I still have no real update and no clear communication. This credit union shows a serious lack of urgency, transparency, and customer service. When a customer’s money is mishandled or stolen, consistent and transparent updates should be the bare minimum. It should never be this difficult to reach anyone. We’ve gone elsewhere.

I have banked at Fitzsimmons Federal credit union for over 10 years. They’re the most difficult credit union to get personal loans approved, and besides that, their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. They have lied to me about the time it takes to clear checks! NOW they charge $30 to replace a Debit card! Extremely inexpensive for them but they charge loyal customers $30! Many reasons to find a new Credit Union!!! UPDATE : I got a call from the Assistant branch manager Troy and I was extremely impressed with how quickly they responded to my complaint. I was assured things will change as far as customer service, and I look forward to continuing my business at Fitzsimons Credit Union

I’ve done 2 auto loans here over the last 10 years, my most recent with Julysa Rodriguez and I highly suggest requesting her. We dealt with an Out of state dealer, but she was super easy to work with, quick responses, and was able to take care of all the heavy lifting for me and answer any questions I had. Made everything very easy and stress free for me!

I have been a member since 2009 and the customer service in the last 3-4 years has gone terribly down hill. Currently have been waiting for a call back for service for an entire 7 days. Every time I call I just get the runaround. Which is really upsetting because I love being a member because my father was one of their first.
