I've had a really solid experience with Space Age Credit Union. The staff is professional and the customer service feels much more personal than a big national bank. Their rates are competitive, and I haven't had any major issues with my account or the mobile app. Definitely a great local credit union.

I've had two motorcycle loans which were problem free and just this week I asked for a particularly unique loan which they offer and it went incredibly well. They were very patient and courteous with me having never had one of these loans before. I enjoyed the process and they are helping me out immensely. Plus I love the name of the CU. I am considering moving everything to them.

My family has been banking here for many years and overall we love them. I now live in Massachusetts but I will always keep this account open. Today was the worst experience I have ever had. Priscilla, I can tell you are a nice person and you mean well but answering a very simple question turned into a disaster. A share ID # is NOT sensitive information! You turned my already half hour phone call, into a 2 hour ordeal all because you couldn't understand a simple request! It took the person I finally got a hold of all of 3 mins to give me what I needed. Instead, you took extreme caution as if I was seeking access to the account that I WAS TRYING TO SEND MONEY TO! I would love to see your caution if I was trying to get money transfered to my account from another account. But quite literally I was just trying to send money FROM MY ACCOUNT to another account! You need training... and as a side note, the press 1 for a call back option, is a joke. According to the person I spoke with, there were 2 people handling all call backs. I received my call back, I answered and said hello and was immediately hung up on. Seeing as how the person that helped me within minutes actually helped me and was 1 of those 2 people. That only leaves you as the other person which possibly means you purposely hung up on me. I won't lie, I definitely got rude with you on the phone and told you to shut up but that was after 3 times I tried to speak and you just kept talking over me, not letting me talk. It was terrible customer service and you need to work on listening rather than thinking you know everything. 30 mins with you and being so frustrated that you didn't understand a simple request v.s. 3 mins with a person that actually knows how to listen to a request and understands I was not asking for personal or private information.

Jessie went above and beyond for myself and my military wife. After countless run around with others, she answered, actively listened and made a commitment to not only assisting us but calling back with updates along the way. We are a military family in the middle of pcs orders to Alaska. We needed a letter stating we could transport the bike with a deadline of next week. Without her help, we’d be stuck in a bad situation. She worked effectively and timely in taking care of this matter for us. Huge thank you to you girl!!! As well as Micheal the loan supervisor who assisted with the letter. Can’t thank you enough. She knows how to take care of the military!!

Absolute disaster of a company. You'd think a known credit union could handle basic account and site management but their website is a trainwreck, it literally still has the site builders 'lorem ipsum' on some of the pages because they didn't fill everything in, the email to contact them isn't a valid email, they never answer the phone, and my loan account says past due no matter how much or when I pay them even if I pay more than is due earlier than expected, and when I've called them about that they just say it's a site error yet I've gotten letters threatening to cancel my upcoming to date paid loan. It's so stressful and I would NOT go through them for an auto loan if I were you. Hopefully they don't shut down my account due to their glitch. Edit: Clearly they aren't checking well enough, and though I'm sure it's convenient to believe I'm just unintelligent I am certain I have the correct CU and sometimes people just happen to be married so the information is under the other spouse.
