I have been on hold for almost an hour and a half. This is nonsense. How do you stay in business like this? Everyone does want to go on the internet, download apps. Sometimes you need personal service. One of your competitors answers the phone or allows you to schedule a call back, and they will call you back and help you take care of your business. You close at 12:00. I have been on hold since 10:30. Will I be on hold until you close?...

I had a hard time getting help to fix online banking, it was broken after the rebrand. Now recently their online banking has been broken again for about a week. I emailed twice and it’s been 4 days with no response, app still broken. Otherwise I’ve had good experiences here.

I've always had pleasant experiences. A few times I had issues they were addressed and resolved. Friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff. Been a member since over 30 years!

Opened a joint account with my wife there who was a member. Since then she hasn’t seen the new account online and when we’ve asked multiple times they say a manager needs to do it but he’s never in branch and has yet to call back after 2 weeks. We made a cash deposit and the teller just straight up didn’t know how to count cash and it took a solid 30 minutes because she had to recount 6 times. Then when we used our debit cards they were declined due to incorrect PIN. Turns out when they set it up the banker had me submit the PIN on my wife’s card and my wife input it on mine. Odd since she said she was the best banker and de facto manager since her boss was never in office. If she’s the best I’d hate to see the worst. Horrific credit union.

I have been using The District Credit Union on Chambers Road for a number of years. I have always received excellent friendly service whenever I enter the building. I am always greeted and receive fast service. Whenever I have inquired about various loans, I am given all the pertinent information in easy to understand terms. When sitting down with the loan officer, she does not make a person feel rushed and explains what each page of the application means. I would highly recommend The District Credit Union to anyone looking for an honest place to do their banking.
