I got an auto loan with this bank through my broker. I decided to go with them because their rate was the lowest compared to others. When I opened the auto loan, I had to also open a "Base Share" account where I had to deposit $25. I paid off my car loan in 2 months, but had a $2.16 balance. When I first called, I believe I spoke to Patrick, who explained to me that the balance could be paid by the funds in my Base Share account, and sent me a form to close my account on 01/09/2026, and I signed it on 01/10/2026. At this point, I was under the impression that everything that Patrick and I spoke about would be processed. However, I hadn't received my title or the check for the remaining balance on my account, so I sent a follow up email through the messaging portal on 01/30/26 (15 business days after Patrick and I spoke and after all necessary forms were signed and submitted). Mary followed up with me on 02/17/2026, but I had to re-explain everything that I spoke to Patrick about (so I presume nothing had been processed). When I brought this to their attention and suggested that someone dropped the ball, Mary denied dropping the ball. It may not have been her, but SOMEONE did not complete the process in a timely manner. It's more frustrating and disappointing that they didn't accept accountability for their lack of diligence in the process, rather than their actual lack of diligence. At this point, I was told this should all be resolved in 10 business days from 02/17/2026. So hopefully, this will be processed more timely.

This bank has provided a rather unusual experience. Following online approval and receipt of a membership number, my application was temporarily suspended prior to funding. However, upon visiting the branch to complete the funding process, I was notified that my application had been denied, despite the initial approval. I am now seeking a banking institution that is more welcoming and inclusive. Thanks Megan Lane !

Metrum is phenomenal. My wife & I wanted to use the equity in our car and they gave us a phenomenal rate that was better than our bank. Metrum is personal and professional. The person who helped us has been with them for over 20 years. What a great company. We are so glad that we became members. If you need to borrow money, this is definitely the place to go.

I moved all my accounts to Metrum Community Credit Union after I got approved for an automobile loan through them in April of 2021. All of my dealings with Metrum since then have been nothing but positive. All of their associates are extremely helpful and pleasant. I have a higher rate of return on my savings account and CD, and I have never paid a dime to them for any kind of "fee" that the big banks charge on a monthly basis. I highly recommend Metrum Community Credit Union to anyone! You will be happy that you made the change, I definitely am.

I have been with the Credit union since the age of 18 yrs. old. They have always been, professional, knowledgeable, helpful in every way possible. I would never change banks due to all of the positive experiences I have had.
