I had the absolutely best customer service experience with Air Academy Credit Union that I have ever had with any organization. Robert Yeakel was able to puzzle out a problem I had had for many weeks and find a solution (hopefully) for me. I haven't heard an outcome yet, but just having someone realize what the issue was and offer a solution is so refreshing!

AAFCU is amazing! Sarah Strozenberg recently helped me with an issue I had and was caring, understanding, and knowledgeable throughout the process. This is what customer service should be and I am grateful! She even gave me a personal follow up email after resolving my concern and I really appreciated the personal touch and attention. Made me feel like AAFCU really cared about me as a customer. Thank you!

My husband tried to deposit a refund check from our insurance company that both myself and his name were on. My husband was advised that since we did not have a joint bank account that the check could not be deposited into an account that doesn't have both of our names on it. We both came back into the branch to talk to the manager. I did not get her name but she was working at 4 PM on May 12, 2026 and had black hair. She said that she could not deposit the check without us having a joint account. She was insistent this was policy without showing the policy. She just knew. As we were leaving, she said, "Good job acting like this in front of your kid." Even IF this manager was upset that we made her get up and talk to us or upset that we didn't like her answer of "it can't be done just because", gives her no right to talk to customers like that. Hopefully this manager can be re-trained in customer service. I do not recommend this branch if you want to be treated kindly. Also, our credit union was able to deposit the check so I am not sure what policy this manager was referring to that your branch wasn't able to deposit our check without a joint account.

I’ve had a difficult time sending a legal document to AACU for a couple of weeks. Today I was fortunate to talk to Sarah S. who was a tremendous help in figuring out the tech problem. This is something that is really important and she was able to help. Thank you very much.

Robert Yeakel was super helpful with my issue logging into my account for the first time. He was extremely patient and had great customer service! I'm a new member with AACU, but so far I love it!
