Darcy the operation manager decided that she wanted to make my experience as difficult as possible to do a wire transfer, despite being a customer for 30 years. Recommend not using rio grande.

Sara at Rio Grande is the best. Plain and simple. These guys always have the best rates, they make it happen and do the extra steps of calling dealerships and jumping through hoops when it’s technically my job as the client, and overall just couldn’t have a better referral for a lender.

I refinanced my house with Rio Grande. Credit Union for just over 600 Per month They use Servion to service the loan Servion Has raised my payment to 884 a month on a fixed loan. They said it is the escrow, which is property taxes and insurance. My insurance is $64 a month and my property taxes are $78. The escrow is almost as much as the payment. I have tried to contact Rio Grande credit Union about this, leaving several messages for the mortgage department. Who does not respond. Run away from this unorganized lazy credit union!

I have been a member of this bank since 2008 because of the low overdraft fees however, after this morning I plan to switch banks ASAP!! It is my 10th year anniversary today and I have reservations out of town that will now have to be cancelled (hopefully without penalty) due to the bank stealing my money. I got paid yesterday and was able to access my funds up until this morning right before leaving town. When I went to the grocery store my card was declined. When I checked my app it repeatedly told me "network error". When I went to the ATM at the gas station it declined my balance inquiry, and withdrawal of funds. When I went to the Bank's ATM same thing. So on top of everything now you have to add in the banks terrible hours of operation (only open Mon-Fri) and today is Saturday. Thanks for ruining my 10th year anniversary! There's nothing worse than a bank that takes your money without any explanation for days!!
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
