At first I absolutely loved banking with PGAFCU, they were always so kind, willing to help with any problem you had, honestly always there to help with a smile on their face. Fast forward to present day, most times you get met with a monotone attitude, frustration when you need some kind of help. My biggest issue has to be with Jennifer. With in the 3 times I’ve had to interact with her, she is one of the nastiest, most condescending people on the planet. You would think that you personally wronged her with how she reacts to questions and inquiries about getting some kind of help. Valerie was my absolute favorite person here and now that’s she’s dropped down to part time you can tell the overall attitude and morale have tanked. It’s really sad too because I loved my local credit union but I have already switched over to a different union.

After over 40 years of my mother, having an account with this company, we have decided to close it due to the service provided by Serena that let’s you know the type of person she is. We will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well. The level of disrespect and poor customer service is beyond reproach. All the other ladies there are fabulous.

In my honest opinion, I thought credit unions were supposed to be more welcoming and create a family type of environment. There are good people that work here, but it can’t be said for every staff member. Any call to the office is left to ring or until someone feels like picking up the phone. Good luck getting a hold of someone over the weekend, they have office hours posted but never answer the phone. Another issue was the debit card they gave me, it always gave me problems and didn’t work at certain stores. Even after getting the updated chip version I still had this problem. The senior loan manager will take initiative to reach out and address/resolve the problem at hand and I do appreciate that.

Jennifer Nieman (I hope I am spelling that correctly) just gave me the best customer service I have ever had! I have an account with PGAFCU in Pueblo but I currently reside in another state. My kitty, who is like my child, required emergency hospitalization last night and I have been desperately trying to come up with enough money to pay for his stay so that he won’t have to be put down! Jennifer VOLUNTEERED! to drive a cashiers check for funds in my account at PGAFCU to my bank in Pueblo!! She is going to do this after her work day ends, using her own car and gas. This is after spending half the day on the phone with me and talking to other coworkers to try to come up with a way to get me the immediate funds that I need. She was incredibly patient and kind each time that we spoke and never gave up trying to come up with a solution. I will never forget her genuine act of kindness and I hope that one day she is repaid 100 fold. She will never fully know the difference she made to my sweet boy but she actually probably saved his life. Honestly, what a fantastic human being.

The somewhat reserved advertising of this Credit Union leaves many surprised of its existence. This is not an issue for its current members whom enjoy the Family-Like atmosphere and business that is conducted by the knowledgable friendly staff. Competitive rates, Excellent Member Services, and the exclusive-feel membership are what account for this 5 STAR rating!!
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
