I just want to say, I absolutely LOVE this bank, they took a chance on a homeless guy and now I'm retired and in a much better place, they are friendly, professional and more than helpful, if you're in any other Bank in Sterling Colorado?... Why just why?, I would suggest you come over here and get an account with Sterling Federal credit Union. It will be the best decision of your life.

I worked with Mary at the Sterling branch today, and I've never been so humiliated by a business before. I walked in with $5,000 in my pocket to open an acct. I told them I'll also be getting a settlement check that will be coming in 2 weeks once my lawyers office processes it. $5,000 in my pocket and I was told I'd have to come back with the settlement check to open an acct! Seriously? Then she told me that I'm on a list that my identity has been compromised (someone stole my credit card # off a scimmer on a gas pump) and that's one of the reasons they don't want to open an acct for me...really? So if someone steals my info, I get flagged and then the bank doesn't want to do business with me? And she said it like it was my fault that someone stole my credit card info! I can't believe a person gets treated like that in this day and age - unbelievable! So a person who's ever had money stolen off their credit card or their identity stolen, definitely don't go to this bank even if you have $5,000 in your pocket, because they'll belittled you, make you feel like a piece of trash, and send you on your way! Hopefully I can find a bank somewhere that's not going to ostracize me because someone stole my cc info on a gas pump! You would think they might have a little more compassion for someone who's been in that situation, instead of treating them like it's their own fault and they're somehow "marked" now, and they don't want anything to do with them! That's just not right! Some holiday spirit! Well, I wish everyone at the bank a safe and Merry Christmas and hopefully you all can find some humbleness in this holiday season!

I've never had a banking experience like I have received here! When deciding to get a new car it was suggested to go here for my loan. I opened a savings account and was wary of the traditional banking system but have had a great experience. The staff quickly recognized me and know me by name even after being with them just a few months. They are patient and understanding, answering all my questions without feeling like I'm getting the run around just to appease me. I have since brought other people to the business who were wanting to switch banks to open an account. I can't recommend them enough!
