This is my favorite Credit Union. Great loan rates. Small and personable, always helpful. My phone call usually gets immediate answers and results. Only one location, but they are networked with many other CUs and ATMs (Canvas dropped out), and funds are simple to transfer at participating CU locations.

I have used WFCU for 3 separate auto loans and until recently I would of given them a better rating. However, as my car came to the end of its loan(I owed around $5k on a $50k car) they placed forced placed insurance without notifying me for $1300. Once I noticed my loan balance had went up and contacted the CU I was notified that they sent me a notification in the mail, which they had a 3 year old address. Note, they had up to date phone and email but never once tried to reach out via a reasonable contact method. I tried numerous times to rectify as I have always had full coverage on every vehicle I own. They dispute that my name doesn't exactly match on the previous insurance, which I go by my middle name and use both names regularly. However, I was greeted with attitude, blame, finger pointing, and to this point, no refund. I have since paid off the loan and will never do business with a CU so desperate for a cheap money grab. If the company needs money so badly they add forced placed insurance on a long time member's loan as it's almost paid off, I can't imagine how they treat others. This CU obviously has changed their goals from customer service to revenue at any cost. I would recommend exploring other options!

I have been a member of WFCU for quite a few years now, and have always found them to be incredibly knowledgeable, and wonderfully helpful as I navigate through various financial needs and issues. Their loan department is always super helpful when reviewing potential financing needs, and staff are always ready to answer questions. Add to that the general welcoming feel whenever I have the chance to visit with them, and they are by far one of my favorite financial institutions!

Catrina and Jeanette were truly exceptional. Faced with a challenging situation where I had to purchase a used car from a private seller with a strict 24-hour payment deadline, I approached WFCU for assistance. Jeanette, with whom I initially conversed, was not only courteous but also informative, addressing all my queries and facilitating the initiation of the auto loan application. She then coordinated with Catrina, a loan officer at WFCU, who promptly processed and approved my application within the same day. Their combined professionalism, efficiency, and collaborative spirit were commendable. I am thoroughly pleased with their service and would certainly recommend them.

Jeanette has become our go-to at WFCU. I was about to move my IRA and she was able to do a rate match. This saved me a headache and the CU a big loss. My family and I always go straight out to Jeanette anytime we have questions. Mary has also been the backbone of the front line for years, and a big reason that we are still banking there. We find the personal service unmatchable anywhere else.
