Excellent service consistently through 15+ years. Never any fraudulent issues. People that blame the bank are being scanned somehow, not the banks fault. Nice people great atmosphere and best loan rates personal or otherwise. Make a great choice today and join a great credit union. Prompt professional service every time. 5 STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is my own personal experience 😎

I have been using FD for years since 2016. This bank was the only bank that believed in giving me a loan back in the day when no other bank would help me.fast forward to today-and I give this bank a lot of credit in helping me shape my family and I build generational wealth-and they’re still helping me every year with something new I do. This is a small community bank that’s a staple in Waterbury for like 100 years. It’s not chase bank so if your looking to have deposits in the same day-only thing I would say no to-however anything for personal banking savings auto loans-helocs-these guys are the top of the line. The employees are very helpful especially in the loan department, all of them are very helpful. Most people will use a business for years and one time something will go wrong, they will immediately leave a review. How about leaving a review for the 50 times things went right. Everyone wants to feel entitled and special about leaving reviews-negative reviews should only truly be warranted when all avenues dealing with the business have been attempted. Not just when 1 bad experience happens and you go cry about it on Google like a 4 year old like a lot of reviews I see. Get a grip on life-and get out of moms basement and see the world. The negative reviews they even have are mostly from the meriden road branch-and it’s not because of the employees, that bank especially deal with a bunch of people who can’t figure out why companies took money out of their account and they get mad at the tellers-seen it many times, it’s 2024-get with the times and control your money better people-it’s not the banks job to worry about why you can’t budget your money. Either way-keep up the great work FD community and continue in helping people in Waterbury build generation wealth!

I'm getting really sick of this Credit unions lack of security. I got hacked AGAIN. seems too easy for information to be stolen. And I'm doing everything I can to prevent it, including mostly using cash. I'm done with this nonsense!! I've been with them for years but now it's time to go. DO NOT come here if you value your money's safety. Very unhappy

I had a HELOC with this bank for about a year until I no longer needed it. Laura R. is great and her customer service exceptional. Just waiting in line to make a transaction you get the feeling people here - Watertown Ave specifically - love their jobs and care about their customers. Five *'s absolutely!!!

The team at FD Community Credit Union is amazing! I worked with loan officer Jonathan Christofano for getting a motor vehicle loan secured. What an incredible job Jonathan did. The entire process was very easy, thorough, efficient, and smooth. Jonathan was punctual and very well prepared for my arrival at the office. I thought my appointment was going to take an hour or more but it only took 30 minutes, and of those 30 minutes I spent 15 minutes just chatting with Jonathan. He had me signed and completed in just 15 minutes! Jonathan answered all my questions and made this a very pleasurable experience. I HIGHLY recommend Jonathan Christofano and team at FD Community Credit Union! Thanks for all your hard work!
