I thought it was a good credit union until they changed debit card services. They now use some scam company called Shazam. After spending what seemed like hours on the phone with Harvesters trying to get answers as to why our debit cards don't work, they assured us they should work fine. Sunday afternoon trying to get gas and, as usual, DECLINED. I'll be finding a different bank that actually respects their customers instead of these scam artists holding our money. Luckily, I have a credit card that has no problem working, it's not from Harvesters. NOTE! Shazam has 0% ratings on TrustPilot do to their "poor customer service" but there are several people reporting no stars you can view. Also Shazam has MANY Scam warnings online, as well. Scary! Oh and thanks to Harvester's reply which doesn't bother to ask to "work things out". In fact, it was posted minutes after I posted this...on a Sunday. AI, I suppose. Wow.

They hold my SS check for three day! It comes on Wednesday and they REFUSE to release it until after 5 pm the following Friday. Then they lie about after they've blocked me from seeing in a pending state. They haven't always done this. They started doing it about two years ago. It's an extremely cold thing to do to elderly people who need this for food!!! Extremely disappointed!

I absolutely love this Credit Union! I opened my account around 10 years ago. At first I was worried about a 'small town bank' and wondered how I could access my account if I traveled BUT since they partner with A LOT of 'Sister Banks' I am able to deposit checks, pull cash and everything else I can do at Harvesters with any of their sister banks. You can grab a full list of partner/sister branch locations at your local Harvester's. When I had an unexpected financial expense pop up, I was financially stressed. Luckily I talked to someone at Harvesters in Cantonment and they explained that they offer a 'payday advance loan' up to $1,000 with 0% APR on the spot WITH NO CREDIT CHECK NEEDED! Payments are stretched over a 12 month period making the payments affordable, with no penalty to pay off early! Also over the years I've learned about a ton of perks you absolutely will not get anywhere else from EXTREMELY LOW LOW APR on any of their amazing repo's. If you overdraft just call them and ask for a reimbursement, for example: I had a payment come out I wasn't expecting u til after payday, causing me to overdraft and 9 times out of 10, they will REIMBURSE your fee or you can always opt out to overdraft so you never have to worry about that. They allow up to $900 overdraft with only a $35 fee per transaction so if you need to overdraft. You can pull out what you need all at once ( up to $900) at your local branch to avoid any unnecessary fees AND THEY NEVER JUDGE YOU! 🥰 As long as your account is pulled back positive within 30 days and stays positive 24 hours, than you can go 'negitive' as often as you may need. Absolutely EVERYONE working at any of these branches have always been so sweet, kind, understanding and caring. This Credit Union gives off 'Ol Time ' Vibes from back in a time where your local bank knows you by first name and treat's you like family. HARVESTERS is by far the best financial establishment to trust with your hard earned money!!

I was in a pickle. Money was pouring out in fees and penalties, it was more than a trickle. I called my bank and asked please-advice- I need help- these overdraft fees are killing me. By some twist of fate, an act of grace, on the other end was charity. She said do this, I can help, it'll be ok. And no lie, in one day, everything was turned around, the skies had cleared, I was Back on track things were looking up and seriously, I owe it all to charity. Now I can't say with any assurance that anyone else there in that bank is more than three stars. But because of the goodness of her tide- all ships have risen, so everyone can be 5 stars and it's all thanks to charity. Thank you. my new financial advisor (I wish) and pal. Thank you charity.
