Been with this bank for over 10 years, staff would know my name by voice and helped me in a friendly and efficient way when Dee was in charge. Fast forward to Today. The place is a MESS! RUN AWAY! I'd rather trust an abandoned building than keeping any money in this place. I called in to ask about a non-sufficient fund fee and was told by the first staff member she didn't know and I would receive a call from the manager within an hour. This was at 11:17 a.m, I call at 3 PM and was told there are no notes or anything. I proceed to explain the issue to the next teller, she then tries to gaslight me, blame, get condescending and straight up aggressive and dismissive for no reason. I wasn't irate and trying my best to be friendly. She told me she couldn't speak to me and I have to be transferred to her manager, hung up on immediately. I call back, after 10 minutes, she attempts to speak to me again because her manager is unavailable and abruptly hangs up on me saying she can't talk to me and that I rebottle everything she says after I ask a question about her explanation that didn't make sense. I calll back and speak with another teller. Of course she doesn't know any of the associates name I've spoken with (even though the bank is tiny and has only 3-4 people there any given time) but this teller seemed to be concerned with how I was treated or at least pretended to be. After hearing me out and failing to see why I was charged the NSF fee, she said she was going to do a print out and go over everything carefully and call me back. I'm still waiting on that call back but either way I'm closing my account with these people. Debby the manager doesn't care apparently how her employees treat people and doesn't care about the customers. A big bank would never. If DEE was still here, she would NEVER behave like any of those "ladies". The only good employee I've spoken with there is Meryl and I'm still waiting on a call back. This place is absolute anarchy just trying to find out what your balance is, how much NSF fees are pending and how much money they are going to STEAL from your account. It's almost the end of the day and I'm clueless as to why I even got ONE NSF charge. They can't even explain that to me. 0/5

I have been with this bank since 2012, when I first applied my credit was messed up, and just to be a part of this bank like the rest of the employees I paid off my things and got it together I was young, I was glad a year later to be approved, but I have to say that since COVID-19, the availability of services has changed significantly. The wait times can sometimes exceed 30 minutes, and in some cases, it is impossible to reach anyone even after days of leaving voicemails. As a result, I opened an account with another bank as a backup because this bank frequently declines purchases, especially those made out of state I travel. Fortunately, I can now use Zelle to transfer money to my other bank. Recently, I had to take an urgent flight, and my purchase was declined on a Saturday. I had to open a Klarna account to pay for the ticket because there was a hold on my Zelle transfer. The bank claimed it was Zelle's fault, while Zelle insisted it was the bank's issue, stating that if it were their fault, I should call them directly to unblock the transfer, not the bank. I also think we should be able to set our own limit. I am very busy and have to remember oh let me call the bank, I cannot get through to up my amount for a purchase. I have been paying rent, paying airline tickets, buying furniture. If after hours your stuck.. When I am in a rush or need to accomplish something, I am often unable to reach anyone, even at 9 AM. On many days, the phones remain turned off well past that time. A credit union should provide top-tier customer service and availability. For instance, I called at 9:10 AM, and guess what—closed. Despite these issues, the bank offers great customer service when available and provides excellent loan options. The staff is friendly, so I am sure the problem lies with the system or management rather than the actual workers.

I frequent this branch frequently the one time I wait before opening go in drive thru pull up to window another vehicle pulls in other lane send off items & is greeted and serviced first it took 12 mins for me to be serviced. Do we not go in order of arrival or just whom can submit items first? Another teller even acknowledged the other customer assuming hes a regular. Didnt bother to ask if ive been helped. My experience never been this way with the gentleman who usually services me

Paid 30 dollars to stop payment on a 10 dollar Zelle transaction. I only do direct deposit with them. I also bank with Navy Federal and Amex. I have been a customer for 8 years but lucrative fees like that tell me it's time to go elsewhere

as I closed my 'other institution's' account, they still didn't know my name or that I had an account for over 25 years. In just a few short months with BHCFCU on Commercial Blvd-I have had the most wonderful interactions. I ACTUALLY MET THE STAFF WHO SPOKE TO ME ON THE PHONE!!! They recognized MY voice! Can't wait to say I have been with BHCFCU for 25 years!!
