I feel like this bank targets former 121 members and really does not provide the exceptional customer service and banking needs. I promise to you that before they acquired 121 FCU I haven’t had a headache about my banking needs. But this bank is a vulture and Makes up there own rules and say upper management admin discretion. If you are looking for a bank, just don’t and go somewhere else. This bank does not run as a credit union. They run there practice as a bank. And you can tell and feel it. Not all of the employees are bad. But the ones in member services with their little offices and in admin I really feels like targets people of color, people who are really trying to stay afloat, people with small businesses, and black woman! And I don’t feel bad saying that. Currently looking forward to finishing with them and finding another. I see why people stay with Apple, Venmo, Cashapp and such. Beside this bank truly sucks!

My experience with VyStar Credit Union has been consistently frustrating and far below the standard of any competent financial institution. After selling one of my properties, every mortgage document associated with the loan disappeared from the online portal. These records are essential for tax and accounting purposes, yet VyStar removed access without warning and has been unable to provide them despite months of requests. Since January, I have spent countless hours being transferred between departments, receiving contradictory information, and speaking with representatives who clearly had no idea how to handle a basic request for past statements. I was even given an incorrect phone number. At one point, I was told the documents would be mailed to me — nothing ever arrived. I was later informed that VyStar does not allow customers to speak with a real person about past mortgages and that email is the only option. This level of disorganization is astonishing. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident. I once sent an international wire through VyStar. When the recipient didn’t receive the funds after a week, VyStar told me to “wait another week.” After doing my own research, I discovered the wire had actually been rejected within 24 hours because VyStar entered the wrong account number. Despite the fact that no money was ever delivered, VyStar still charged me roughly $100 when the funds were returned. When I asked why I was being charged for their mistake, the response I received was essentially, “We don’t know — Chase Bank charges us.” In the end, I lost three weeks, the wire never went through, and I ended up paying about $140 for absolutely nothing. Between the missing mortgage documents, the inability to speak with anyone knowledgeable, the incorrect information, and the mishandled international wire, it is clear that VyStar is not equipped to handle basic consumer banking responsibilities. Their internal systems and customer service processes are completely inadequate, and the burden is placed entirely on the customer to fix their mistakes. I will be moving all of my business elsewhere, and I strongly advise others to think twice before trusting VyStar with their financial needs

FYI you lost 4 life long members for charging my kids 1$ statement fees. Over 24$ a year you lost 4 members. Not that you care. I was not going to make my kids online accounts as insisted I have enough usernames and passwords to remember. Update 10/10/2025 you lost members over 1$ statement fees for my kids every month. But you send flyers to us in their names for homeowners insurance addressed to my kids make this make sense?

I had the Assistant Branch Manager, Yasmine Walthour, help me with my very first CD and my experience was amazing. She was kind, very informational, was of much assistance, and made it a simple, enjoyable experience. I felt very special and appreciated. Additionally, the atmosphere was very pleasant; clean, stylish, and impressive. I would recommend this VyStar location to anybody and everybody and hope your experience was as good as mine.
