Becoming more disappointing by the day. Customer service wait times are extremely long, branch locations are limited in key areas, and there appears to be little urgency in resolving customer concerns. After three business days, multiple calls, and several emails, a simple request still remains unresolved. It seems competing institutions seem to offer more efficient service and a better overall customer experience.

I previously only had a savings account due to having a loan through TFCU, but I decided to open a checking account because of their loyalty. This was my first time visiting the branch, and I met with Assistant Manager Keston Strachan to open the account. Mr. Strachan was very welcoming and immediately made me feel at home. He made the process easy and efficient while also taking the time to get to know me and treat me like family. Because of Mr. Strachan’s professionalism and the positive experience he provided, I will continue to keep my accounts with TFCU. Thank you.

I have had an account with this bank for almost 40 years. They always seemed a little behind with technology but after this last update to the website, its proven there isn't much common sense where its needed. While thousands of other banks have been adding and working with Zelle for over a year, it too Tropical financial that long to add it to thier services. Today I needed to transfer from my heloc account and found out I couldn't because some idiot decided it would be better if the customers had to call or write the bank to move thier money out of the heloc account. No warnings, no emails, nothing. Just a unilateral decision by the bank to control other people's accounts. If youre looking to open an account with a credit union in Miami, there's are a couple others I would look into before Tropical financial. I will be looking into them as well. They seem to have more common sense at the higher up levels than this bank seems to

I had a wonderful experience with Keston and his team from Tropical Financial Credit Union at the Miramar Branch. He approved my loan very quickly and Adrian was able to locate a vehicle for me very quickly. Their service was very reliable, fast, and efficient. I highly recommend their services!

This is the second time that Shane Garcia has been my representative at the Miramar branch and each time, I have been very impressed by his knowledge and professionalism. He is very approachable and takes the time to listen and offer solutions to problems that could seem quite overwhelming. He is an asset to the bank and I hope that he receives the recognition that he deserves. Kudos to Shane.
