Not a great bank, their app is trash, mobile check deposits doesnt work correctly, tring to move funds is a hassle and not intuitive, bank is only open while everyone is at work and never open on Saturday. I'll be switching banks very soon. The people are nice though.

Elizabeth Hackney at OCCU has provided over the top, compassionate customer service over the years. I stepped in when my father passed, assisting my mother as Trustee. I had the pleasure of meeting Elizabeth at that time. She was beyond helpful and a sincerely genuine good person. She instantly put me at ease. I was fortunate to have been able to manage my parents account the last several years, up to and including moms passing. Elizabeth was always there to provide assistance for me and long distance, as I'm not an Ocala resident. Elizabeth is one of those few people that stand out in your mind as folks you meet through your lifetime that truly make a difference. You are blessed to have her; she is a valuable asset to your team. Elizabeth sent me a beautiful letter when my mother had recently passed sharing her memories of my mom. VICKY DESERVES A RAISE!!!!!!! We recently came in and got a boat loan, and Vicky was more than helpful with us. We were dealing with another credit union for about a week before we came here, everyday it was something, and Vicky had us in and out in 45 minutes with a check in hand. Highly recommend!!!!!!!!

A MASTERCLASS IN CUSTOMER SERVICE! Gabby helped me with opening an account the other day & provided world-class service one would come to expect from larger institutions! As I walked into their front lobby, Gabby grabbed my attention and acknowledged me with a smile, a friendly greeting & welcomed me to the Credit Union. Now, that's a warm welcome, I thought to myself. Her tone of sincerity when she asked "How may I be of service to you" is what crystalized by first impression of the credit union: a place I’d like to do business with. We went through the process of opening my account as Gabby paid special attention to the fact that I had just moved into Ocala. She pointed out the other branch in town along with a thorough overview of all their services - not taking anything for granted. Our conversation was driven by her questions, seeking to understand my banking needs, so I sensed that she was not working off a "service script" like so many other credit unions. For the first time in about 3 decades, my experience in dealing with a credit union was not painful. It was pleasant, efficient, and gave me the confidence that this place will treat me right, like a TRUE partner would. Now, I look forward to my next visit. Extra bonus: She didn't have to wish me "Have a Magical Day"... as I was already on cloud 9!

Vicky is just wonderful! She is very kind and patient and has been extremely helpful!! She listened to my concerns and questions and was successful in helping us secure a loan due to a car accident we was in recently. She went above and beyond and is still responding to my emails weeks after our loan was approved. Her customer service is beyond 100 stars and my husband and I are extremely grateful for her. Thank you so much Vicky!!
