Anyone with a debit/credit card at this credit union, please check your account for fraudulent charges. I received a call from the fraud department of this bank on Sunday, July 20, 2025, regarding charges I didn't make. They froze the card and told me to speak with the bank for a replacement card. When I got to the credit union on July 21, 2025, there were multiple people in the bank with the same issue regarding fraud. I asked the teller was the credit union was compromised regarding our accounts and the teller said "yes". I asked why hasn't the customers haven't received an email or some kind of communication regarding this and she stated "mgmt" is probably working on it. So, if you have a checking account or credit card, please check your account.

OMG.... All three branches that I visit are Mercer, Lancaster and Hartley bridge are GREAT!!! I have nothing to say but great things. The customer service I received when I visit my favorite bank is outstanding. Always a pleasant greeting and quick service. The Managers at the branch are so friendly and always interacting with the customers. They are like family. Also the ladies in the office, is always willing to assist and have great spirit. If you looking for a great place to handle your business, start with any Midsouth credit store.

This one star review is regarding the MSFCU Visa Card only, not MSFCU overall services -- I STRONGLY URGE YOU TO AVOID THIS CARD!!! Prior to March 2022, my MSFCU Visa card was my go to credit card -- the only card i carried and used. March 2022, I tried to get assistance with fraudulent credit card charges; but, for various reasons, the problem was not resolved; so, I retired the card. I transferred all recurring charges to another credit card and have not used this credit card since April 2022. The card expired February 2023 and I DID NOT activate the replacement card. I thought an expired card with a non-activated replacement card would mean that charges on the card would not be processed, right? WRONG!!!! Charges were processed even though the card expired in February 2023. MSFCU personnel advised me that "authorized charges" are processed even if the card has expired -- these charges did not begin until November 2023 nine months after the card expired and the card had not been used since April 2022. (I currently have recurring authorized charges on other credit cards. When the credit card expires, those recurring charges fail because the card expired. Before the recurring charges can process, I have to provide the vendor with the new expiration date.) Since being expired did not prevent charges being processed on my MSFCU Visa card, I have closed the account. Overall, service provided by MSFCU is GREAT, and I recommend them; but I DO NOT recommend the third party visa credit card they offer. In fact, I strongly advise that you consider credit card offers from other sources.

They treat you so nice and they take time to learn who are personally. I was introduced to everyone there when I joined on the 4th of last month. I like their practices too. So far I had a great experience. Hopefully things will stay that way and just get better each month I'm there. The only things I would change is that they stay opened till 6:00 on Fridays and charged a smaller fee than $25.00 for needing to use your overdraft protection. 😀
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
