I joined this credit union before it was open to the public because my grandfather was a lifelong Lockheed employee. Back then, it offered lots of great services that benefited members. More recently, it's proven to be a pretty awful option, and I would recommend against joining. I've had many cases where fees were applied that shouldn't have been, and the in-person customer service I received was poor. They also handle normal financial transactions poorly -- when I "upgraded" my starter credit card to their more advanced version, they closed the old account and opened a new one instead of performing a product transfer. This had a big impact on my budding credit score. Their services seem to get worse every year, and now you have to jump through an absurd amount of hoops to meet their requirements of the "high rate checking" option. They keep upping the fees for non-LGE ATM withdrawals (and removed the waiver for X times a month). It boggles the mind why a financial services firm would continually degrade in quality, and at this point the only reason I keep the account is so that I don't close the credit card account on which I already took a hit. If you're looking to join a credit union, look elsewhere. It's sad to say, but credit unions from other states that you can join online offer much better products and services at lower costs, with better customer service. The only nice thing I can say is that they offered an option to add a custom image to my debit card, and it renews automatically without an additional fee, and I continue enjoying the image on it. Though I suspect they now charge a fee to people not literally grandfathered into that. That's the only reason this isn't a 1-star review.

As a disabled veteran, I must say that this credit union would be at the bottom of banks. I called both the credit union and their member to explain that I mistakenly zelle $190 to the member. I provided my name, the amount and the bank name to verify that it is the information that the member indeed sees on his in. I even stated his name that showed on my ended through zelle. The guy stated that he needed to verify with his bank that it wasn't a fraudulent activity which didn't make any sense to me. I recently finished remission treatments and living on disability is already difficult; the credit union and its member is making it hard for me to remain calm.

There's a great team at this branch! Everytime I come in, it doesn't matter how many day is going, I'm always treated with dignity and kindness the second I walk in here! Though this team is awesome, amongst the few that have known me for just a few years now is Ms Jasmin Nipper! Every question I have, she'll provide an honest answer and point me in the direction of growth within LGE! She knows my family dynamics and is always encouraging positive ways to ensure my finances are taken care of. For example, the fact that I get discounts because I am a member here, that's great to know and help me plan for my family during this season! She is always so confident and positively radiant with her attentiveness, especially when I have my kids with me! Thank u Jasmin!

Never heard of this place before I got a text about online bill pay. I know it's a scam but I called just to verify there's not actually an account in my name here. The rep refused to look up my name and said she could only check it if I gave her my social security number. There is no reason she couldn't check for the name first, then check to see if the last 4 of the social security number are the same without me giving a company I've never heard of my full social.
