Recently I applied for a loan from HFS Federal Credit Union in Hilo through their online system. I found the application process to be simple, quick and clear to understand. After submitting my request online, I was immediately contacted by Melissa (the loan officer) who, through one email exchange, obtained the information the company required to approve my loan. The couple of emails that followed only served to communicate finalizing the technical paperwork and recording details prior to transferring the funds. In all of my years of life (I’m over 70 years of age) I have never experienced such efficient, friendly and complete service as what I received from Melissa (last name excluded for security reasons). My thanks to Melissa and other staff of the HFS Federal Credit Union in Hilo for making this challenging process a pleasure for me. Mahalo!

My overall experience with Trey was awesome! He was really helpful and walked me through the process on getting a loan, and any questions I had since it was my first time ever applying for a loan. HFS Federal Credit Union takes care of their members with good rates and approval odds. They approved me for a credit card to rebuild my credit when no other companies would approve me. They are willing to understand your situation and accommodate as best as possible. Loan officer Dawn, helped me with my application and gave me my credit card the same day. 10/10 recommended.
