Great to work with! We are really new to the area and had some questions regarding fire regulations in a commercial building we're looking at. The younger gal at the front desk was super polite and helpful in finding who we needed to talk to. Deputy Chief/Fire Marshal Romeo Gervais took the time to answer our questions, he was extremely courteous, knowledgeable and professional. So far I'm quite impressed, delighted even, with the City of Boise!

I passed out in my bathroom yesterday after taking a shower about an hour after I donated blood (my 40th unit, by the way) and my family called 911. The fire department came along with the Ada County Paramedics crew and I was very out of it but from what my family reported, every member of the fire department were very professional, and showed concern for my dignity and my safety. They had to use the stair chair to bring me downstairs and I was wearing only my bath towel. They started IV fluids in the bathroom, which helped me tremendously!! Boise Fire and Ada County paramedics worked side by side, together, to help me and my family. As I was being loaded into the ambulance, I heard a member of the fire department ask the ambulance crew if anything else was needed from the fire department. These guys handled my emergency with a professionalism I won't soon forget. Thank you, Boise Fire Department for coming to my emergency and handling a very scary situation!!
