I have been a loyal member, even through ALL of their system fails. Several of them with me not being able to get food for my family or gas to get to work. I have still stuck with them. But that is about to end. As a credit union it is customer owned, supposed to be customer oriented and supportive. They are not. The staff is very friendly and it really is a joy interacting with them. But the reality is on the back end you are better off not wasting your time with this place. The ACTUAL care given to "members" is non existent. As a credit union, you would expect above and beyond, personalized and tailored service given your situation. This is not the case. They advertise as a credit union, but operate bigger than corporate banks. What leads to this review? When applying for a loan they only pull your experian report. They do not pull from all 3. This falls short on their end as if they did, they could see the inaccuracies in reporting and would be able to make an actual informed judgment in their decision. So yes, denied by iccu for a loan due to inaccurate reporting on my credit report. Approved by a "bigger bank" who took the time to compare and pull all credit reports. I hope this review helps someone who is looking for a loan. And remember, if you try and go through them it is a hard pull on your credit, which will drop your credit score. And ICCU, I'm not interested in your generic "fill out this form" response. I'm a member, treat me like one and reach out to me personally.

This is a pretty good bank. Only had one or two little hiccups. The major thing is we switched because we wanted a small community bank. And this bank is that, however theybpldo the big bank thing where you can never call your local branch. You have to call the 800 number and wait and play their games. The people at the bank seem knowledgeable and polite. The people on the phone while mostly polite seem untrained and not very knowledgeable. It can take many many many phone calls to resolve a simple issue with being told different things each call, jumping through a new hoop each time. We have had wait times of 45 minutes before. Update: While it make a moment or two to get things handled sometimes, they definitely have gone above and beyond for us recently.

Excellent Credit Union, but the lines at the Yellowstone branch have been excessively long lately, pretty unacceptable in my opinion. They need to hire more staff

Robbie Wilson was fantastic to work with yesterday. We came in to set up a new checking account, checked in with a teller and within 2 minutes, Robbie came out and invited into his office. The process was easy, fast and no stress. Robbie took the time to go over all the information and answer all our questions.

I’m pretty sure it was this location, but if not then a Boise location. I’m a new college student and was looking into getting a credit builder card. Kolton was the representative helping me and I had such an amazing experience!! He was very very kind, (asking about my week, what I’m going to school for, etc.) He was very knowledgeable and explained things in an extremely easy manner. The whole process was so easy, Kolton really helped me understand and the whole process was done in just over an hour. Definitely recommend him!! #iccurocks
