I have been with this bank almost 20 years (since long before it became "Connections"). Going into the branches in Boise, everyone is friendly and good at their jobs. Anything outside of that, is absolute garbage. I contacted them to see how long an online check deposit from a new employer would be (knowing there would be a hold due to the amount). They said they could call and verify funds within an hour to 24 max of deposit. I deposited the check and immediately got an email saying it would take 7 day-10 days. I called the main branch, Pocatello, and they very rudely stated and there's nothing they could do (liars). I was out of state and out of money and nothing they could do? I contacted my usual branch, spoke to the manager, who called and verified funds. Releasing the first half immediately. Then last weekend my card info was stolen and accounts drained. I was contacted by a 3rd party to "confirm" info related to me and my account but had no knowledge of it on their end. Seemed shady so I reached out to them again. Of course no possible way to get a response or help from them on a weekend. Finally got an email from their "fraud department" trying to confirm if the transactions that were done in Columbia taking all of my money, was me. No, obviously. And I asked if the shady 3rd party was related to them. ALL THEY DID was say thanks for the email. So of course I contact the branch I typically use back home. In meridian on 10 mile and pine. The manager immediately checked the withdrawals and refunded the money. She expedited getting a card mailed to me (we recently moved to Hawaii) but of course it doesn't come with the PIN and their online platform and 800 numbers have no ability to even reset the pin. So I continue to get returned charges for my bills. There's so much more. I have never been able to actually get real help from this bank due to their policies, over all of these years. Even with a $200k salary rolling through their accounts. Unless I am able to talk with the same manager who has been great. On Monday I will be emptying my accounts and moving to another bank. I strongly advise against banking here.

Connections has been a great credit union for me. They gave me my first car and home loan. Jo has always been my preferred teller even back in the Inkom branch, but all are helpful, kind, and efficient.

Always great to work with. Willing to find a way to help with different loans that work for your needs. The lady’s at the counter are all amazing and personable. Definitely has more of a small town get to know you and call you by name type of environment
