I rarely leave reviews, but I feel people should be aware of this. I do not recommend getting a credit card from Lookout Credit Union. They recently switched their credit card servicing to Groundwork, and since that change, customer support has been extremely poor. Since April 8th, I have been trying to register my card in the new system. I’ve made multiple calls to both companies and was repeatedly told I would receive a callback within 24–48 hours. It has now been four weeks with no resolution and no follow-up. Because their system isn’t working, I was forced to pay a fee just to make my payment over the phone. On top of that, I was charged a paper statement fee because I’m unable to enroll in e-statements due to the same issue. Both fees were denied for reversal, even though they were caused by problems on their end. Through these calls, I’ve also learned this appears to be a broader, system-wide issue—so I doubt I’m the only member dealing with this. Despite that, there has been little to no communication from either organization acknowledging or addressing the problem. I chose a smaller credit union expecting better service, but the lack of support and communication here has been extremely disappointing.

I had a wonderful experience with them. I’m a joint account down in Utah and they worked with me and gave me the cash with no questions. It was awesome.

Already 1000 times better than that ICCU. Ive gotten a phone call and a card from them. They are connecting with me and asking if I need any help. To ICCU I was just a number that helps them make more money.

Val and the entire staff have been such a help as we’ve navigated accounts from a distance, through various means that work for even the less tech savvy. Always professional and pleasant, while doing so, too. Thank you for your great service!

I have needed to do bank transfers to a bank in Canada. At first lookout was great at helping me. Now not so much. I will call and ask for the individual who was always incredible at getting it done. A week ago I phoned and was told he was busy and he would return my call. He never did. I emailed him a few days later and his reply was to phone in and anyone could help me. Everytime someone else has tried, they seem to lack the knowledge and end up waiting for him to assist. So I am now looking for another banking institution that all staff are knowledgeable, where I am not given the run around. I shouldn't have to feel like I am a burden asking to have a transfer done. I have been with the credit union since the late 1990s.
