By far the worst financial bank we have ever used. Not sure how they stay open. The account number on your monthly bill is not really your account number. They put an 8 digit account number but all their account numbers are 10 digits. Customer service told us to add 2 0s to the beginning. We did that. Paid with our online banking. Twice they claim we didn't pay. We even had a Banker from Chase call them to confirm mailing address and account number. Chase confirmed they cashed the check but Alliant kept saying they don't see the payment. We had to make a 2nd payment and then fight to get our 1st payment back. This happened 2xs! We had to set up auto pay with their system..we were told that's the only way to make sure our payment is received. Now we are wanting to pay them off. We can't cancel the auto pay. We filled out the online form to cancel. Got an email that the account number we used was not correct! Again Customer service said add 2 0s and try again...got another email that they can't cancel auto pay due to incorrect account number. Why is there no mailing address for payment or a correct account number on our bill???? Im reporting to BBB. Do not use this bank! Something is clearly not right! We are now going to have to fight to get auto pay canceled. No bank should make it this hard to do business. Shame on you!

The credit card was great when it had the high cash back, but the chargeback department is just awful. First, there was the hotel that I left an hour after check in because they sent 3 separate people to my room with the key after I checked in. Now, this latest one was from an appliance repair company that didn't perform a repair, but Alliant decided that I need to pay them anyway. Joy. You'll save more than you realize by getting a card with a fraud department that actually investigates claims of fraud.

It's hard to believe this company stays in business with their terrible customer service. After dropping the 2 1/2% visa rewards I'm happy to say I'm done with them. At one point we were charging $10K/month but, that means nothing to them - they still treat you like poo. STAY AWAY and avoid the stress.

Just got an auto loan through Alliant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The 100% online process was very stress free. They beat my local dealers rate by over 2%.
