I have been in this credit union all my life, my mother start a savings account here when I was born. And then she handed over to me when I turned 18 and I did the same thing with my children, but ever since we got a new President, it has really been going down. We don't have ATM machines that work now, the one downtown doesn't take cash deposits. And if you put a deposit in over $250 is being held people getting fired, left and right.I hope it doesn't close because I really depend this credit union. It use to be for the people but not anymore since we got this new president she start charging for the parties now she cancel the parties. This president is for her self not for the people of the credit union. We use to have meetings so we can tell them our complaints she stopped that at well I have a feeling with her in charge the credit union is going to close

They released my money without a required court order to do so. I might add none of my other financial institutions would do with out a court order. They offer no protection of your money. Even when your card has been stolen or compromised they will not allow you to dispute any charges. They do not respond to emails nor voicemails. In my opinion they are a low budget financial institution with a group of people trying to figure it out as they go at customers expense. In my opinion this place is only good for emergency loans or a emergency credit card. I would not recommend using them to keep your money there. They have cut my debit card off several times for suspected fraudulent use on a Wednesday but guess what they closed on Wednesday so you have to wait until the next day to get it turned back on. Just not worth the headache moving on

The atm is either gone, not working, or it’s no money in it. ALL the time. LaBrenda also has a VERY nasty attitude. DO NOT BANK HERE

My wallet was stolen a month ago. I had to call three times to the lost debit card number for them to find the correct financial institution and they don't handle the fraudulent charges. (Not to mention, why is an American credit union outsourcing to India) . Then I called and called and left plenty of messages with not ONE call back. They aren't open on weekends or Wednesdays. Then finally after TWO WEEKS of calling I reach someone only to have her tell me i have to come in and fill out a request for a new card. She wouldn't even listen to my charge dispute. She rattled out some extension and transferred me to an Ashley Evans. I called and left her about 5 messages which she never returned. Finally when i reached her she told me the same thing. Problem is I have transferred and no longer live in Chicago. So I can't come in. She says well I have to fax you a form and then you have to fax it back. Who the hell still has a fax machine. So I have to pay to get a fax, send a fax then pay the stolen debit card fee? What's the point? This place has unprofessional staff and outdated services. There's no point in banking here. I only stayed so I could transfer money between my account and my college kids but what's the point now. I may as well switch to one of their co- op branches that offer better services
