The Brothers and Sisters from New Jerusalem Grand lodge were absolutely amazing. So proud to see people giving back genuinely from the heart and taking time to help others. Keep up the good work and positive impact your organization has on the community.

Attended the funeral of a lodge brother's son today. It was in the church next door to to the lodge. The repast afterwards was at the lodge. Parking was scarce. My friend and I, both ladies of a certain age, were very rudely prevented from parking in the fenced lot across from the lodge. We were not blocking any cars or the gate. It was his demeanor that was very off-putting, as he was unfriendly and would not explain why he was being so arbitrary. It was disappointing and made us angry to be treated in this manner. Is this how Prince Hall Masons treat women? It was a sad day for one of their brothers, for heaven's sake, and this is how they treat those coming out to support him and his family? It was an awful experience and gave me a negative impression of the entire organization. There was simply no reason for this man to behave like he did.
