I've been with Staley for over 20 years, both my adult children also have accounts with them. Every year I get the Holiday loan for Christmas. 2 years ago they cut the amount of the loan in half without notice, now this year they have decided not to do them at all. No warning, no heads up, nothing. So, no time to prepare for something ive counted on for years. In a time when people can't afford groceries and this loan may have been their only hope, they just decided not to offer them. Instead of helping people in their time of need, they kick them while their down. I will be closing all my accounts and moving to another bank and I won't be surprised if others do too.

Going to switch to a different credit union for my loans! Always utilized holiday loan and they are no longer doing it! Went from $1500 for years to $750 last year to nothing this year! Those holiday loans help a lot of people during these times especially shutdowns and funding cuts!! Looks like I'm sad to go but all things have to come to an end at some point!

Sonja C. helped with a home loan and made the process seamless. She was incredibly patient and helped work through the bumps in the road to get everything finished up with first-time buyers!

I'd rate this place 0 stars if I could. I've had an account and loans through this credit union for 10 years with 2 different vehicles, and have never been late on a payment. Recently my family and I have been going through an extremely difficult and financially draining situation. I contacted staley cu to let them know I would be a little late on my payment. I came in on day 24 past my due date (so not even a month) and put $220 towards my payment, mind you, my payment was only $7 short of my actual payment. The kind teller told me she would let Joanie Dixon know of my situation and that I should be alright. Nope. Joanie called, emailed, and left me a voicemail that if I didn't pay my remaining $7 that the credit union would pay off the remaining balance of my car and take it from me! ($229.00 is all I owe now before owning my car) They would really rob you of your only vehicle over $7. It's honestly disgusting and disheartening that people could be so cruel to others in a rough time. I've always pain my payments on time until these recent events and they have absolutely zero empathy. Don't bank here or get loans here, they're just looking at you as a cash cow not a human being.
