After multiple issues thru the drive thru over the years . And them changing policy on check cashing to put the customer at risk I will find a diffrent bank. And if you leave a review they will email you and basically tell you your dumb or trying to scam for your feelings and cancel your account unless u respond to a message I wasn't expecting and send your money to and old address

STRONGLY advise not getting ANY loan at Gale Credit Union unless you want them to mess it up and not care. I ended up getting a loan from them and was told my payments were $110 but could pay more to get it paid off earlier.. every month I called my loan officer and asked cause it seemed VERY low and my balances weren’t matching up to what I was receiving in the mail. Every month I was met with an attitude like I was crazy and told the letter was wrong, by the same loan officer.. welI fast forward 6 months and the CEO just informed me my payments have been wrong and I still owe $1300 on top of my monthly payments. MONTHS of this going on and I got told “we’re human”. Don’t trust Galesburg Gale Credit Union w/ your finances. I was mislead for months by someone who’s suppose to be my loan officer. They will mess with your finances and then throw you to wolves and tell you their “human” after MONTHS of error. They aren’t the one going through school with mouths to feed at home.

I banked here for a year and I got shorted money twice in the drive thru and would have to wait for them to count the draw down to get the money back they shorted me and I had fraudulently charges and got no help resolving it once I got back my money. I switched banks after that and my new bank has been amazing I would never go back to Gale credit Union.

Between my wife and I we've had 5 vehicle loans and a number of personal loans through Gale, as well as out checking and savings. Their overdraft protections have saved me headache a time or two as well. Super happy with the customer service from the loan officers Brittany and Lindsay!!!
