I had worked with Sheri (Sr. Consumer Processor) to refinance my car loan. She was super helpful and was able to get me a great rate. I am a new mom so she was very patient and accommodating throughout the whole process. Highly recommend! Thank you, Sheri!!

I have been a long-time customer of Credit Union 1. I recently purchased a car that CU1 funded. The process and my experience were wonderful. Rhea Lynch was (Sr Consumer Processor) very efficient and helped me throughout the process. I had the loan in 24-hrs. It's professional like her that have made it easy for me to be with CU1 since 1992.

Canβt say enough regarding the diligence, customer-centric service, and kindness that Sherrold (Lombard Office) and Jason (Account Operations) demonstrated during a recent time sensitive situation. Both demonstrated empathy and went above and beyond to assist me, even to the point of delaying lunch and providing periodic updates until the matter was successfully closed. I am grateful for the excellent service provided. Thank you for making a difference!

I had an issue with my debit card and luckily received help from Rachel D. She was exceptionally pleasant and helped me tremendously. Itβs great to know that there are people like Rachel in case any issues arrive and she not only helps but does it with an awesome caring attitude. A true asset to your team

If I could give less than one star, I would. I am absolutely heartbroken and disgusted with how this credit union β and especially Nelma β handled my mother's account after my father's passing. From the very beginning, we trusted Nelma to help us through this process with compassion and professionalism. Instead, she was unresponsive, dismissive, and incredibly rude. She never returned our calls, and when we called her, she acted as though we were bothering her for simply asking for updates. Every time we spoke with her, she assured us the check was being processed, but nothing ever happened. We submitted everything they required (not once, but TWICE) β the death certificate, the small estate affidavit β back in August. Nelma told me we had until the end of October before the funds would go to the Illinois unclaimed treasury. We took her at her word. But without any notice or courtesy call, they sent the funds to unclaimed status anyway! This entire experience has been beyond stressful and deeply disappointing. During one of the hardest times of our lives, we were met with indifference, lies, and a complete lack of compassion. No grieving family ( or CUSTOMER) should ever be treated this way!
