Not very friendly staff. When I walked towards the bank tellers, the one woman with dark hair and glasses just stared at me. Neither of the women (the two at the front) greeted me, and that’s fine. There’s an awkwardly placed island, so I walked in front of it which puts me, almost, right in front of this first lady. Again says nothing to me, I walked a little over so that I’m between the two open windows. Finally, the second lady pops her head over and says she can help me. I just thought it was rude of the first dark haired lady to act like that. I absolutely understand if you are busy, but if you can stop what you’re doing to look and stare at me then you can surely tell me “she can help you on that one”. Simple as that. Needs an attitude fix. If you don’t like working with people then don’t.

my experience with this bank is horrible. Don’t sign up with IVCU. I’m constantly calling them telling about letting me spend my money. I just recently had a problem Where IVCU Took $25 out of my account and when I spoke to the woman over the phone, she Laughed at me and told me I was lying. So disrespectful, I would suggest reevaluating the way the employees speak to their customers!

I am fairly new to IVCU but I have had nothing but great customer service. Each and every employee greets me with a smile and asks about my day as well as wishing me a good rest of my day. There was one incident I have had that upset me but after it was explained to me, it made sense and is just part of their policies . These policies are things myself and others should look into and understand before signing up with any bank to further educate ourselves on what they can and can’t do . It seems most are upset or confused of the policies in hand because they are not understood before an account is open. That is on us as a customer not asking these questions if they are not answered to us by the employee. Over all I think the ladies in there do a great job and are not rude at all at least at the Peru branch. Thank you guys and keep up the good work!

I had an account here very briefly, and it was a very strange experience. First, they could not send me my debit card, I had to return to the branch to pick it up- ok, weird, but whatever. Secondly, there is zero customer service when they are closed which means waiting several days potentially when there is a major issue with the account (this happened to me). Third, there is no way to transfer money from this institution to any other account unless it is an IVCU account. (I didn't realize there was any banking institution in 2022 that could not do this- do they know about the Internet?!) Lastly, I closed my account after less than a month and have been, for weeks now, receiving mail offers with anxiety-inducing headlines like, IMMEDIATE REPLY REQUESTED all in big red capital letters. The quickness with which they sold my information to auto insurance companies, life insurance companies, and others is shocking and gross. I was hoping to support a local business, and instead I have to deal with this major influx of junk mail. Just as an example, yesterday I received two letters, and today I received three! I have called the insurance company they sold my information to (TruStage), and have removed my name, but they say it could be 90 days before it is totally removed. I think this is absolutely unacceptable from an institution that one expects to be trustworthy- why would I trust my money to a place that sells my information with lightning speed? Incredibly disappointed and disgusted.
